The service was good, and the waitress was friendly. The food selection was pretty standard for a bar, but there was a nice mixture of sandwiches, pizzas, and appetizers. I can't complain at all. Everyone in our group enjoyed the food. Overall we had a good experience. The place is a bit rough around the edges, but it was fine for a casual bar and grill.

We travel to DuQuoin every year for camp. We have eaten at almost every restaurant and fast food…read morejoint in the small town. Pizza Hut has been our favorite each year. The staff is welcoming even when large crowds from our camp descend on them for the lunch hour. The pizza is actually very good, unlike most of the standard pizzas you would normally find at the larger pizza franchises. They have a buffet which includes pasta, my children love it! The salad bar ingredients are always fresh, no old wilted vegetables, the bacon is real and they keep it stocked so there is no digging at the bottom of the container. I eat here with my mother who normally would not frequent a pizza buffet but she raves about it to family back in Texas and looks forwarding to returning each year. The kids love it too. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they could put a wider variety of pizzas, they usually just have the most basic like cheese and pepperoni and After a heavy meal of pizza, i would like to see fresh fruits on the salad bar rather than the canned peaches and pears. Best place to eat in the small town of DuQuoin!

They are always amazing. The food has been good on some visits and absolutely terrible at other times. I know there is a new chef and a lot of new staff, so we are trying to be patient while everyone gets trained. I'm adding pics of the filet and ribeye we had right before Chef Chris' departure. Also, I would love to see some attention to the patio. It has amazing potential, and we absolutely love having dinner out there, but for a golf course and restaurant of this caliber, it could use some love. Updated outdoor furniture would be a great start!

A large restaurant with high ceilings and colorful art throughout the interior. Our server arrived moments after we were seated. She took our beverage requests and returned shortly with them. We had perused the menu briefly and started with a couple appetizers. Their Pretzels & Beer Cheese and the Smoke Pork Rangoon. Both were good choices. The pretzels were hot and just the right amount of course salt, a buttery dark golden brown crunchy exterior and warm soft bread interior. The smoked pork rangoon, a nice mixture of tender smoked pork with cream cheese filing. These are a nice twist on the traditional crab rangoon. Fried golden brown, with a flavorful filing. A good choice for an appetizer. For my lunch, I went with their Fish and Chips. Along with a side of the Gouda Mac. Two beer battered filets with slaw and fries. The fries and slaw were good, the filets were okay. They seemed like they were prepackaged though? The shape and texture did not match up with the house made fries and slaw. It was okay but nothing special. The Mac n Cheese was good, creamy rich gouda on warm shell macaroni. A nice serving with good flavor. 3.5 Stars All in all a decent lunch, not great, not bad it served its purpose. Rounded up for the staff. 01304

We got water and tea, didn't order drinks but that didn't change their service, I think we had three different servers/bartenders and they were all great. Order the wings! They won the Wing Ding last year with their Honey Habanero BBQ grilled wings. We liked them at the Wing Ding and we loved them here. Just the right amount of kick and grilled perfectly. I would order these every time. I didn't want a large meal so decided to go with a side garden salad and House Honey Fish appetizer. The salad was good, lettuces, shredded carrot, onion, tomato, and croutons. I got no cheeses and went with house Italian. It was fresh, the croutons good and enough so that I took half for lunch the following day. The House Honey Fish was fried fish on top of chimichurri slaw topped with a Hot Honey drizzle. It was very good, the crunch of the slaw, and the fish was really good. I would probably leave off the Hot Honey next time, only because I don't like too much sweet. Hubby got Cajun chicken pasta and he enjoyed it. Busy spot but the staff seem to care about thier service and about each other.
