I went to the UPS store on Beaumont Ave. and the delightfully enticing aroma emanating from Domino's next door was impossible to ignore. We don't eat a lot of pizza, but when we do locally it is most often Domenico's or Tuscano's. That being said, the tasty oven smell was good enough to make me walk in. I was greeted by the team (all of whom seem to be super friendly) and helped by a young cat named a Dylan. Dylan is congenial, affable, expedient and overall just a cool human. I will add he remembers his customer's names and grabs the correct order without asking, which is rare in this day and age. If Dylan isn't the manager, he should be. I ordered a Pepperoni, Beef, and Bell Pepper. It was cooked to perfection and tasty! Of course the price is right compared to our more traditional haunts, so that is a plus if you are on a budget. Was quoted a 45 minute delivery wait, it arrived in 15 minutes. Just some random old pizza they had sitting around with the same toppings I had ordered and passed it off to me. $30 with a $5 tip. I waited several months to try this store again hoping it had gotten better. I think it's even worse. Food took so long to get here that it was cold and soggy. It was like eating dough. Everything had to be reheated. Wings are still so tiny, I think they are using baby chickens. The wings also had a funky aftertaste like eating old meat from the freezer. We had some issues ordering online and we called to try to find out what was going on. We didn't get a resolution at first and had an unpleasant experience when trying to talk to an employee about our issue. We made a complaint and a day or so went by. The GM Ryan called me personally and resolved my issue promptly. It was a great experience getting a call and actually someone taking their time to explain the circumstances. There were technicality issues at their store that they had no control over so that put things into perspective. I explained to Ryan that I've been ordering from this specific Domino's location for years and I've never had a problem. Their pizza always comes out super delicious and is great quality. We've ordered from this dominoes for years, and rarely have issues. But tonight they messed up most of our order, and when we tried to call, the phone just rings. We complained online, but the only offer is a free $8 pizza, when I spent $60 on food that they messed up. Ridiculous! Pizza was over cooked, the chicken bacon ranch sandwich had no cheese and no ranch, just dried out chicken and bacon on dry bread. Sent us Parmesan bread bites when we ordered cinnamon bread bites. The last three times we ordered from this store the good has been TERRIBLE! Pizza 's were hard, little to almost no cheese. This weekend 8/31 I ordered two steak sandwiches. What little meat that was on these sandwiches was extremely HARD. There was no cheese on them at all. I tried to call the store to report this and I had time to get in my car and go back with the sandwiches. I was in hold for over 18 minutes. When I entered the store the so-called manager came over. He looked at the sandwiches. He never apologized and when I told him I was on hold for 18 minutes he said NOTHING. My plan is to report this to Domino's to their headquarters. This is my local dominos. I recently went back after having not gone in almost a year. Before, the food had been inconsistent and often not very good. This last time I went was great! This pizza was so good I couldn't wait to dig in before I got a slice. I also got a build your own chicken Alfredo pasta that was very good and a larger portion than they used to give. The order was done quickly and updated on the website. I used the car side pick up and it was brought to my car within 2 minutes of notifying them that I arrived (as their policy now states).
