5 star experience with Miguel. He was so friendly and patient and also helped provide his opinions on whether certain toppings would work well with the combination on my pizzas. Miguel brought the pizzas to our table as soon as they were ready. My two pizzas turned out great with so many delicious toppings. The price is very reasonable for the variety of toppings you are able to pick. If you have the app, there are also promotional offers to make the deal even better. One pizza is enough for two people with average appetite to share. Although many people can definitely finish their own. Overall the restaurant was pretty empty, but there seemed to be a few customers coming in to order/eat every 5-10 minutes...spread out so there's never really a wait. First Off... The BBQ Chicken Specialty Pizza was off the hook!!! The blue cheese really takes the pizza over the top.. Also had the Veggie Pesto On Cauliflower crust was good too.. Had another good experience at Pieology! The pizza was yummy and consistent. The gluten-free crust was surprisingly good, it didn't have that weird, off taste that some gluten-free options can have. Just ordered from this awesome spot off the 10 freeway, smack in the middle of shopping and great eats! The two girls working looked extremely annoyed to be at work, the girl making our pizza was impatient when we were picking our toppings and three the toppings on so sloppily while giving us dirty looks. It's like she was so upset she had to help us. Our pizza was also undercooked so we had to put it back in the oven when we got home. Hadn't been in this location for about a year and was looking forward to getting one of their thin crust design your own pizzas for $9.99. But, when I went in Idiscovered that the price had skyrocketed to over $13 WTH? And they are charging an extra $4 for a gluten free pizza crust.....Talk about penalizing someone with a DISEASE.....Is there no shame here? I was also shocked to see that there was only ONE person working there to make pizzas, tend the oven and run the register. NOT ACCEPTABLE!! The service was good, but probably the first and last time going. I've gone to others that had working fountain machines, and restrooms. I was so happy with their Vegan options, I had a veggie pizza after a long drive and it hit the spot! My wife and I walked into Pieology Pizzeria at about 11:30 am Wednesday morning as the only other customer was finishing his pizza. We ordered a pizza to share, that we created and the pizza was cooked and brought to our table in a timely matter. As past customers of this restaurant, even though it has been 2 plus years, we were surprised at the lack of flavor of our pizza. The sausage, pepperoni, basil, and even the red sauce did not have any taste. When we left to go home about 12:15 pm, there still were not any additional customers in the restaurant. This is the best pizza I have had in years. I am gluten free (celiac) and the woman working (Sofia) took such good care to make sure no cross contamination. The cauliflower crust came out perfect and the extra cheese made it amazing. Far from home and it's amazing. Had a much better visited from last time when my experience led to a two start review. We were warmly greeted by library staff members. There was clear signage with the pricing for the vegan meats which was correctly reflected on my store receipt. I was pleasantly surprised to see a digital menu board which highlighted a vegan pizza option as well as vegan cheese. After ordering my pizza, it was made quickly and I liked that the employees add the veggies to my pizza the added my vegan cheese before placing the pizza in the oven. I was a little annoyed while waiting to order my pizza because it was busy and the line was moving glacial speed. However, upon observing what was the real issue for the delay, I noticed there were only two workers taking on a multitude of people. TWO! Katie and Joseph are the hardest workers in fast food that I have seen in a long time! They handled the crowd with such grace that only they could handle.
