We went to Milan's on a Wednesday night, 4 adults and 2 children, found it on Yelp with good…read morereviews. One of the kiddos wanted pizza. Upon arrival parking was tight and inside was packed, good sign. We were told to give them a minute that they were busy but would accommodate us. We were seated outside after the table was dried off for us. It had been raining earlier. Outside was large and spacey with tables and couch along with tv and some toys for the kids. Service was slow and received numerous apologies along with the excuse they were super busy. They have a good selection of local draft beers. We ordered kids food immediately along with 3 drafts, 2 waters and 2 cokes. Drinks came after a few minutes. Kids food came after probably 20 min or so, kids cheese pizza was piping hot along with kids chicken tenders and fries. Kids cheese pizza was phenomenal. Kids chicken tenders and fries were terrible. Fries were completely over cooked and greasy. Tenders weren't over cooked but greasy and the cheap frozen kind. Service was slow on beer orders and we received the same excuse they were busy. Appeared to only be two middle aged men working. Received a plate of Italian bread and marinara. Both were good, marinara was superb imo. Placed an app order of cheese sticks with our main order and I ordered a house side salad. The cheese sticks and salad came out with the main order. The cheese sticks were substandard and frozen. The house salad dressing was phenomenal and I enjoyed the pecans and roasted peppers. I had the wings, they looked amazing when we first walked in. They were good, not as delicious as I was expecting. The garlic parm was way better than regular buffalo. Parents had a half and half supreme and pepperoni pizza hold onions. The supreme side was lacking peppers. Pepperoni side was good. GF had the Cabrese pizza. It was skimp on chicken but had a decent flavor. Bathroom was small but accommodating considering it's a bar/pizzeria. All in all I gave 3 stars because we were forgot about at times while we were seated outside by ourselves. We had to ask for replacement beers and still were forgotten about. Plus each time we were told the same excuse "we're really busy", but the place cleared out long before we got our food. I will give it another go but will definitely avoid the fried food choices due to poor quality food and stale tasting grease. The outside area for kids was a plus because we all know how toddlers can be.

While it's pizza and more, it's pizza done right which makes a difference. The place expanded into the old Saritas Asian building and they stay busy. I do wish they had more options for wing sauces. Also, the drink list and the liquor offers are massive so you will find something to match your pizza of choosing.

So I was disappointed to order a meat lovers pizza and receive a frankly soggy and not at all crisp, very sub par and mediocre at best pizza. If you have one way you make your pizzas I would think ten out of ten would come out dry and crispy. Not wet soggy and sweaty on a metal pan. After multiple trips here I will say the female bartender is a much better server and much more attentive to customers and just friendly in general, than her counterpart. I would not recommend the pizza but the place has a nice atmosphere for the most part if you want a drink.

I'm…read moreoriginally from Chicago and she's originally from New York so we have the Pizza debate all the time. She has friends who eat there a lot and keep saying how amazing it is. First Impressions: This place is NICE. When I got the chance to look around it is the perfect first date spot for *anybody*. The menu is diverse for a Pizzeria. They even have a chef selected Salumi Board. In the end we split a Sensation salad(which is the best I've had), Calamari Fritti, Carnosa and Mushroom Medley. The Good: Our server was Andrea. She was outstanding. She did her best to take care of us and in the end she went above and beyond with her service. The Calamari was ok but seemed to be more breaded than actual Protein. The first thing that came to mind when I tried the Marinara was "Fresh". It tasted like it was obviously done that morning. The Not So Good: When Andrea took our order she made it a point to tell us that she would space out our order. That didn't happen. And she told us the kitchen didn't follow her orders. Everything came seconds from each other. I understand a sense of urgency because the parking lot is always full and they want to push the crowds in a way where the next wave can have a place to park...But the restaurant wasn't even full. The Parking lot was but there were plenty of tables available. In the end we felt Serve and Burned. The Pizza: The char on the doh was great. I love a good fired oven pizza. But the pizza itself didn't seem like it was cooked all the way through. When I picked up a slice it just flopped down. My wife's pizza was dry. She ended up asking if they had any kind of garlic butter. And Andrea understood the assignment. She came back with the Shrimp Scampi sauce it ended up making it seem to be the one thing the Mushroom Medley needed all along. (I 100% Recommend it.) My pizza was ok, but only when the 3 slices I took a bite of had all of the toppings on them. Less than half of the pizza had Pepperoni on it. I did not get the impression that this was something that happens all the time so we will be back. I would still recommend this place to everybody.

The amazing thing about this place is the value for the money. I got a hot, fresh, excellent custom pizza with a ton of different ingredients on it and a bottomless soft drink for around $13 (after tax), much less than I would've paid for an equivalent amount of food at Popeyes, Taco Bell or even Burger King. The bang for the buck is off the charts. My only real complaint has to do with the temperature in the store: it was uncomfortably cold. If you think it's cold inside a Waffle House, you're in for a rude surprise. I was tempted to give them four stars because of it, but since it's a problem that can be handled simply by bringing a jacket, I deducted half a star and rounded up to five instead of down to four.
