THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! AND THEY STOLE FROM ME! AVOID THEM! I left this company a bad review before. They argued (rudely, might I add) about it for a while and then said that they'd correct the situation in exchange for taking down my bad review. They came by today to "fix" my window, but instead their guy came by, removed my window from its place, left it in the hallway, stole $30 worth of property, and disappeared. I'm going to take this to the police. When I asked where their guy went, this was the reply I received: "Appreciation back to you. Take care your self. I am fine with review." He also admitted to stealing from me! Looking further into this company that goes by both the names of Domino Window Repair and Domino Window Cleaning, it turns out that they faked many, if not all of their 5 star reviews. read more

I am thrilled with the professional and incredible service we received from Domino Window Cleaners. I called at 10 a.m on a Saturday to schedule an appointment, and within an hour Serge was at our apartment cleaning our windows. He was courteous and personable, and he thoroughly cleaned off several years worth of dirt and grime from 5 windows within the span of an hour. This service from the time I called, to the same day call back, to washing my windows on the same day (thanks to an opening) to the quality of the workmanship ----they get 5 stars from me. Neil, the chap who did the 7 large windows was simply lovely -- great quality work, wonderful personality, great customer service. I wrote this review two weeks ago. But editing it today based on my contact with Mike/owner/ manager. Back in April Domino cleaned my windows. I paid over 400.00.--actually it was about 380..check made to Cash and tip to the worker made it over 400.00. I called him in May and June. No return phone call. He claims I did not call, and will "prove" it through some phone app. I emailed him to tell him there were a lot of white spots, there were not there before the cleaning. I asked if he could have someone take a look. Basically he told me it was too late. Ironically I would have been willing to pay something, if a lot more work was involved. But he just dismissed me. I live in a building with 235 apartments. We have an internal bulletin board, and I am part of group of online neighbors. When I wrote to him and told him it was bad business, and good will and recommendations might be important to him, he reconsidered his original "no it's too late" and he agreed to come today. But when he read this review he just stood me up, and told me it was because of this review. I did not realize I posted this...I knew I wrote it but didn't think I hit the post button. I told him again this also was not good business, reviews can be amended as I am doing here. He has now texted me and threatening a law suit for a bad review...and has been harassing me with texts...not only bad business, but scary and our of control. I also suggested if he is threatening law suits, about a review he might want to consult a lawyer. Now he is sending texts that say..." see you later", if this continues I will bring all his correspondence and file a complaint with my local police precinct. read more

I've had Domino come wash our windows twice now and both times they were fabulous. We have ridiculous, oversized windows that have to be eased out by a pro and are also framed by removable storm-safety strips that need to be laboriously unattached and reattached before and after washing. I've had two different people from Domino do all this for us, John and Neil, and both were professional, pleasant, uncomplaining, careful, more than competent, and left the windows as beautifully clear as when they were installed a decade ago. The dispatcher also was good-humored and flexible when I had to change the first date I made at the last minute. Highly recommended. read more

I arranged to have Domino come out after confirming a price range per window. The owner gave me a range of $12 to $14 per window based on a clear description and measurement of the windows. His guys came out and said they wanted $15.63 per window and demanded to pay up front. When I called the owner, he was abusive and said I "was playing games" by not agreeing to pay more than $14 per window. When I refused to pay up front, they left without saying goodbye. read more

I had the most frustrating experience with this company today. I called last week and spoke to someone who was very gruff on the phone, which was not the best but not a huge deal -- made an appointment for today at 3pm. Today I rearranged my whole schedule to be home to wait for the window cleaner to come at 3pm. No one came. I got a phone call, picked up, heard only static, called the number back, nothing. A half an hour later, after I've removed everything from my windows, gotten all ready, etc, I get a message on my phone. I call that number back and talk to another very gruff person who tells me that because I missed their first call no one is available to come clean my windows until next week. Wha??? I was sitting at home waiting for someone to come at the scheduled time! Everyone was so rude, and the experience was so frustrating and a huge waste of my time. My advice would be to try someone else. I'm sure other companies are a lot more reliable with their scheduling, and respectful of their customers' time. read more

He took a quick look, gave me a reasonable estimate and got to work right away! He did an AMAZING job and put extra effort in cleaning two tilting windows that are hard to reach. I've never before in my life been yelled at when calling a company when calling to follow up on a visit... here's the story. First the good. Farkhat, the cleaner who came to do my windows, did a good job, he was methodical and attentive to detail. Now, the bad. I was quoted a range on the phone, for my 8 windows, between $135-160. When Farkhat arrived, he quoted me $240, I told him there was no way I could pay that much, and we ended up settling on $180 cash. There was one window, where he did not have the correct product to clean. He initially told me it would be another $75 for him to come back to clean the window. I felt that this was an extreme additional charge, and from my perspective, as I was paying a premium for a professional service, I would expect him to come with everything he needed to complete the job. He said that, as a favor, he would come back the next day as he would be in the neighborhood and would take care of the issue. The next day, the number he gave me to call was the wrong number, and there was no sign of him. When I called the company the next day to complain, the person on the phone, literally yelled at me for complaining, told me that they didn't need my business and that I should just call one of their competitors. I'm still in shock. I've never received such terrible customer service. I don't know how they have any repeat customers with this attitude. I will absolutely never be using them again, there are many options in the city, find a company that will stand behind their service, and actually cares about their customers. read more

I must write this review because enough is enough. I don't usually take time out of my day for things like this, but every now and then, I am compelled to give my professional opinion. We use Domino Window cleaning services at my job. My boss first warned me about how rude and brash the owner is (whoever answers the phones). The first time I called, he was astoundingly brash for no reason, and every time, thereafter. This is the big apple, concrete jungle, however, these days businesses rely on reviews from the general public. The people deserve honesty, and personal feelings aside, this mans attitude is not worth the service at all. We are a melting pot, people from all walks of life, but there is a general tone one should have when conducting business. If you are providing a service for fee, then it should be done with common courtesy at the very least. Why should anyone dish out hard earned money to a company with this type of off-putting attitudes. I can recommend so many other companies with decent rates, and better attitudes. I'm trying to convince my boss to drop these guys, and go with someone else, and I hope anyone reading this does the same!!! read more

Mike accommodated my request. the person who came was professional and cleaned the filthy windows to the point that it looks like there is no glass!!! amazing that you can now see through the windows. he did an amazing job. recommended to do the windows twice a year and you can bet I will be using their service again!! read more
