Check-in was smooth and they accepted Delta Dental insurance. Everyone was very welcoming from the receptionist, to the dental assistant (Lovely), to the dentists (Dr. Esther and Dr. John), and to the hygienist (Tabitha) who cleaned my teeth. I felt very at home and loved that played Christian music and even had on Christian tv shows on in the rooms. They have very up to date equipment and technology, including mobile x-rays of your teeth that they can do on you in your room instead of having to go to the x-ray room (however they did both for me this visit). Dr. Esther addressed all issues I had with my teeth and reassured me of everything. This was overall a great experience and I look forward to being a long-term patient! He has LCD screens above each patient chair that either show nice calming scenery, a movie (to distract kiddos) and is also used to show your xrays instead of looking at negatives on a light box. My $1700/tooth veneer fell off within a week and they spent the whole session making fun of me. They offered the $49 new patient cleaning but it's actually $225 and only after a week of them messing up the appointment. They botched a procedure and the repeated issues since have not been remedied. I thought continuing to go back since it is the same issue with where it occurred was a good idea, but not so much. I paid for the initial procedure and never asked for a refund, even paid for the first couple of fixes, after a while I didn't see how I or my insurance should be responsible to pay for fixes on something that was their doing. Yet their front offices staff argues and attempt to continue to bill, without consulting the dr. Look elsewhere for your dental work.

The hygienist rescheduled my cleaning so I would not have to wait an extended period after the treatment plan changed. At checkout, the front desk told me the hygienist was not allowed to make that change and that I would be charged a same-day cancellation fee. When I questioned this, I was called argumentative and was refused the opportunity to speak with a manager or someone else in the office. Another patient in the lobby overheard the conversation and made a comment that I had done nothing wrong and the girl treated her similarly. I completed the patient survey and requested a call back to discuss my concerns, but never received a response. I ultimately decided to get a second opinion, and I'm glad I did, as another issue was identified that had not been brought to my attention during my visit. The combination of poor communication, lack of follow-up, and concerns about my overall experience is extremely disappointing. I hope the office takes this feedback seriously and works to improve the patient experience moving forward.

Shady billing practices and incredibly rude staff…read more I'm extremely disappointed with the customer service I received from this office. Jose at the front desk and Elizabeth in billing were both extremely rude and dismissive when I called with a legitimate question about a service I had received. I was previously told that the laser treatment I received was not covered by my insurance, which is why I understood that I would be responsible for the cost. However, after contacting my insurance company, I was informed that this is a covered service under my plan. When I called the office back to clarify why the service had not been submitted to my insurance, Elizabeth repeatedly told me, "We went over this with you and told you the cost." While I acknowledge that the cost was discussed, that is not the issue. I was told the service wasn't covered by my insurance, which is very different from being told that the office simply does not submit the claim to insurance. I called back with my insurance representative on the phone, and neither Jose nor Elizabeth would initially provide their names. My insurance representative had to ask multiple times before they would identify themselves. When the insurance representative asked why the office would not submit a claim for a service that is covered, Elizabeth responded, "We just don't." She also stated that the situation had been explained to me, which is not an accurate representation of what I was told. I was then told that I could submit the claim to my insurance myself. That was especially frustrating because the office is in-network with my insurance, and I was simply trying to understand why the claim wasn't being submitted in the first place. The entire interaction left me feeling like I was being given the runaround rather than receiving a straightforward explanation. Regardless of the office's billing policy, the communication and attitude were extremely poor. I'm especially disappointed because the dental hygienist is wonderful and provides excellent care. Unfortunately, having a good hygienist isn't enough when you're met with rude and dismissive behavior whenever you have a legitimate billing question. I make it a habit to know what services I receive and what kind of benefits that are associated with the services through insurance. Yesterday, I received a bill in the mail (first time) saying that I owe almost $2,000. (The bill has no information of any kind explaining where this amount is coming from) So, naturally I was concerned and called the dentist office immediately. This is the first time I am seeing or hearing this amount billed to me. I spoke to a newly hired office employee that explained to me that I had been carrying a balance for almost 2 years for services that were rendered. Everytime I get any kind of treatment or service, I make it a habit to PAY IN FULL the amount that is owed the date services are rendered. If not, then I set up a PAYMENT PLAN to cover any remaining amount the date services are rendered. The young lady on the phone explained to me EOB's that are covered through insurance and the remaining amounts are billed to the clients. My questions were why am I just now receiving a bill? Why are you threatening to send me to collections in 10 days if the bill is not paid in full? Why did I not receive a statement, phone call, or bill prior? Why would I continue to get services/ treatment at an establishment if I have an open balance? Why doesn't the bill show detailed information about what was billed for and why? The billing system that created this document hasn't been updated since 2022 showing the lack of monitoring the billing system has. (Shown at the bottom of the bill) Keep in mind, I received this bill (for the first time) 12/23/24. Two days before Christmas. Judging by the past reviews of disgruntled prior existing patients, it seems that I am not the only one who has had issues with the billing department and the LACK OF TRANSPARENCY through billing. I would never agree to pay for services, NOT knowing the full amount that is due at the time of services. This type of business practice appears to be shady and not forthcoming. This kind of business practice literally leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
