He came…read morein with the best price out of 5 electricians and companies I contacted, and the value he delivered made it an easy decision. He took the time to clearly explain the entire installation process upfront, which gave me great confidence going in. On installation day, he was flexible and accommodating when I ran late from work -- that kind of professionalism goes a long way. The end result looks fantastic. He patched every hole made during the install and cleaned up completely before leaving. I've already recommended him to friends and will absolutely call him again for future projects.

I don't write reviews often. Only when the work truly earns it, and this one does…read more Ahmad installed a flush-mounted NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage for an EV charger, and the execution was flawless from start to finish. The job required running roughly 60 feet of wiring through a long route across multiple studs, which meant cutting a number of access holes along the way. Despite the complexity, everything was routed cleanly and the outlet sits flush exactly as intended. What really impressed me was the drywall finishing. Patching after that many access points can easily turn into a headache, but Ahmad's patchwork was smooth and precise. Some spots were nearly paint-ready with barely any sanding needed. He also cleaned up about 95% of the mess afterward, leaving only a small amount of drywall dust behind, which is more than reasonable for this scope of work. Ahmad also took the time to explain why a NEMA 14-50 was the right choice for an EV charger setup, and went above and beyond by pulling out his multimeter on the spot to show me the proper voltage coming from the outlet. Real peace of mind that the job was done safely and correctly. Professional, knowledgeable, and clearly takes pride in his work. I'll absolutely be calling Ahmad again for future projects, and I recommend him without hesitation.

I had ridiculously bad luck finding an electrician, including being charged for an estimate(!), then thinking I'd found someone (nope... he disappeared), then got an estimator to visit from Davis & Green (never heard from him again) and this delayed our work. Then my sister, a realtor, said her colleagues had had good experience with SmartWire. I called them, spoke to a very nice receptionist who said she'd have their estimator call, and... amazingly... she DID call back that afternoon. Faith runs the show and is a lovely person. Even likes rescue dogs (like mine), and gave me an estimate that was right in line with my expectations. Her guys showed up right on time and were polite, knowledgeable, and very good to deal with. They did the work as perfectly as it could have been done and finished in a day and a few hours the next to label the new panel. They even provided a generator so I could work while they had the power off. This is a friendly, conscientious, hard-working, very reasonable group and they COMMUNICATE well! If you've been overseeing work on your home, you'll likely understand how important that is. I'm having them back in to run more new circuits up to the second floor and back to the garage. Faith and Daniel are good folks and you won't regret having them in your home. I feel very confident in their skill and trust their judgement on the best ways to go about even complex work like retrofitting a century-old pile of stucco like my old house. I've already recommended them to friends, and I'm sure my sister will spread the word at her realtors office. It's a pleasure to recommend SmartWire.

The metal fixture and the shade feel and look cheap and flimsy in person. The color of the shade is described as a deep tan but it is actually grey with green undertones. However, what annoys me the most is that they charged me $29 for shipping and now to return the light I have to purchase a return label from them. I will not be a returning customer. I will stick with buying from West Elm/PB/Article/Target. (Photo attached. Kitchen remodel in-progress - don't mind the mess!)
