Oct 21, 20024- Just used Emet's Plumbing for the second time. The first time was couple years ago…read moreafter a major freeze event which caused a leak of the water supply line that ran under and up through the foundation, the leak being right inside the house, above the foundation. Emet's had a solution that was cost effective and put my water cut off valve exterior of the house vice the interior side where it was prone to leaking at times. Rerouting the line to save from the big cost of running new supply line through the foundation. Today, was just a basic plumbing issue of a clogged drain but with my work hours I decide to call them out, they were prompt, affordable and they taught me something about my drainage system. Thanks to Erick and Alex, total professionals.

I did not really know anyone that could help a brotha' out in referring me somewhere, so I took to Yelp to find me an apartmentlocatorsortofperson. I read through some of the reviews and found someone I wanted to use, but that experience did not go very well and I am not going to give that person any free publicity with this review. So I took to Yelp again and uncovered the hidden gem In the Loop Properties - and they did an incredible job for me. I wanted to find a place quick so I sent my information in over the internet on their form. A few hours later I was given the contact information for the guy that was going to be helping me search. Because I am really impatient I also just went over to the office, because I like dealing with people face to face rather than resorting to the phone. In the Loop is in the strip mall on the left side of the street right next to Rudyard's (Waugh is one way only in this part, north straight to the Heights.) As I walked in I met Ada - very friendly. I dealt with Jorge Bolio (and occasionally his wife Heather) in the search for a place to live. They were both very nice, professional, and valued my time - which was nice to have that kind of reciprocity. Everyone kept in touch with me, they kept me up to date on the search, they kept e-mailing the "info sheets" on properties to read through, Jorge drove me out to look at two of the more promising properties, and finally when I thought Houston had absolutely nothing to offer me in terms of what I was looking for: something great happened and it was wrapped up in a box in 40 minutes. After getting an e-mail one afternoon to the effect of "there is nothing here you really want, but maybe you can live with it?" I received a follow-up e-mail a minute later and a phone call. The perfect place and within my price range had suddenly just become available. I conducted a mad dash to go look at the place, toured the property, and made it all my mine with the stroke of a pen and a bunch of dollar bills. The property had been available a sum total of 40 minutes, and not even hit the internets yet, but Jorge knew about it and since it was a GREAT deal, he knew it would not last long so he was willing to be honest that I should pretty much drop what I am doing and go look at it. If he was not great at what he did, this property would have gone to someone else. He knows what he is doing. Because this is Texas if you are non-traditional in any way as you are looking for a place to live: this company is very open-minded, progressive, and tolerant - confirmed elsewhere and by at least one other person on the internets at http://www.realjock.com/gayforums/1635435 the third comment down - so as you are conducting your due diligence on who you want to do business with, just know you are doing business with good people in this office. I have recommended Jorge and In the Loop to my friends relocating to Houston for work and/or school.

We were referred to her by our realtor friend, and she spoke very highly of them. She was able to make special accommodations and provisions to ensure a smooth process. Overall, they are professional, friendly, detailed oriented and would definitely request them for a future closing.

They offer better service than the standard real estate agents who sometimes rely on HAR to do their work for them (a common Houston problem). Jennifer is both a broker and an accredited buyers' representative. This means that she will always place the needs of the buyer first--even above her own needs when it comes to her commission, etc. In fact, she signs a contract that explicitly states that she will place our needs first and will solely represent our interests. Jennifer was an amazing expert to have in our corner. She successfully negotiated on our behalf (when we directed her to). She got a phenomenal design center allowance for us from the builder (we built a new house). She also successfully negotiated a reduction in the house price when our appraisal came back low at the last minute. Jennifer also taught us the ins and outs of buying a house, from start to finish. She helped us become well-informed, savvy buyers. With Jennifer in your corner, you will get a great house that fits all your needs for a good price. She was a critical asset for us throughout the entire process. And she saved us thousands of dollars. We are absolutely 100% satisfied.

It will be awesome once completed. We were lucky enough to get in early. I believe the amenity center (which looks amazing) will be done in november. If you access the cane island website through a mobile device, you can see which homes are sold and which are available. There are lots of other cane island homeowners like us who drive through the community whenever we get a chance because it is amazing to see all the progress. We see lots of Katy Police officers driving through as well, which adds some comfort. The living arches at the entrance way light up at night and change colors (so cool). They have also had a taco truck come out and a lobster truck come out recently. The tax rate is high but worth it, in my opinion! Other news: One of the playgrounds is going up, the splashpad and amenity center are going up, the sidewalks around the lakes are finished (mostly), light posts are going up.
