Dominick's is a great place to hang out inside or outside. The pizza is tasty and the drinks for freely. Everyone is kind and the vibe is great! We were there for Hash bash, it's a tradition. But I'd really like to go hang out on a slower day! There's two levels and lots of areas to hang out.

Looks like the cool place to be if you're a Michigan student. This spot is right by the Law School and I came here right after school-wide commencement. Sangria was bomb. Highly recommend! Food was pretty good too. I ordered a meatball sandwich and it was 10/10 delicious. Sandwich was small and didn't come with any sides (thought it would with the price!) Felt more like a snack than a meal. Their outdoor seating area is cool and you can wait on their covered patio or in the sun while you wait for food. I think there's some indoor seating, but it seems a bit limited. Overall very satisfied with the experience and will try to hit up when I'm in town again.

Sangria and Constant Buzz: great, 10 out of 10 recommend. Antipasto salad: 9/10, not disappointed. Being rushed while ordering from an overwhelming menu written in chalk across three walls and then waiting to hear your name screamed across an old, crinkly speaker: 1/10. The set up is not my favorite, and the service could be improved. We have been several times because it's considered an Ann Arbor staple, but half the time we come we wonder why. Shaded seats on the back patio are coveted, especially since they keep the far back portion (full shade) closed until there are enough people sitting in the sun. None of it makes sense. Maybe that's why we come back.

I highly recommend the Constant Buzz! It's basically a strawberry smoothie. My friend and I got the pitcher to share. We also got chicken quesadillas and the spinach and artichoke dip. The quesadillas were good but I'd pass on the spinach artichoke dip.

A classic Ann Arbor spot. This place when I went to college was one of the best bars to go to for a chill evening or to daydrink. The sangria is what they're known for. I came with a friend during the daytime. There was a new drink - called the constant buzz so decided to order that and try it out. The drink was definitely on the sweeter side but with a hint of strawberry. It was huge though so definitely recommend sharing. I really liked that they were super nice about the drinks because the first constant buzz we ordered a wasp flew into the drink and we we barely two cups into the drink. The kitchen was super nice and made us a new one so we can enjoy the full portion. Classic spot and fun!

Was in the area and wanted to go somewhere authentic and locally owned. We were blown away by the time walls which were filled with Olympic information and other random fun bits of knowledge. There are a few different places inside the restaurant to enjoy your meal at as well. The menu is large and you will see it written all over the restaurant in colorful writing to take in. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan sandwich with Mac and Cheese Bites as an appetizer, and my taste buds took a journey that carried me through the day. The service was extremely personable and they took time to tell us about their origins and what else there is to do in the city. Everyone in the Ann Arbor area needs to check this place out!

Doms is THE place to be-- delicious sangria and beautiful patio space. However, since my own college days, they seemed to be a lot more lax with the IDs. I watched a teenager show her flimsy fake ID from Hawaii (LOL) to the bouncer who stared at it and let her go in. More funny than anything. The bouncer heard me laughing and said "she's the one breaking the law, not me". Ok dude! Doms is usually an older vibe but perhaps they're trying to make up for lost time with bouncers looking the other way. Just food for thought. Constant buzz was extremely sweet (more of a slushy drink) and definitely has less alcohol than the sangria. However, if you have a sweet tooth, it's tasty!

Already most of the jar down -- tasty sangria!!!

Been here a ton of times, first review. Get the sangria. If you find fault with it, get over it and try to enjoy yourself, because it's good enough and you'll be drunk before you know it. Food is not great. A lot of it is straight from frozen and a little doctored up. My favorite selections are the bowl of olives, bruschetta, and some kind of caprese thing, which seem like fresh menu selections. Anything else and you may be rolling the dice on quality and you'll definitely pay too much. Make sure you leave before 10pm or risk being deafened by the terrifying sirens they deploy to drive everyone out. You've been warned. That said, there's a reason this place is usually packed. It's a fun place to be with friends and get lit, and that's why it earns 4 stars.

One time I made a joke along the lines of "you can ask me anything on there, I memorized it all." And she threatened to confiscate my ID and give it to the police. Not because she suspected it was fake, but because she was offended or something? Another time I asked to step outside to smoke and she said if I did I'd have to get back in line (I only asked because she, for some reason, keeps the door of the bar locked from the inside). She also dresses in a militarized costume, as if she it gives her more authority or something. How annoying she makes the experience of going to mash is well known amongst everyone I know who goes. This woman epitomizes abuse of power -- so thank god she has close to none.

Mash fit the bill (pun intended hah) and did the job just fine. The drink menu is pretty expansive, both as far as liquor selection and cocktails as well. I was also pleasantly surprised to find out that they have a few standard mocktails that they're known for! I tried the raspberry mock mule, and I'm happy to report that it's a hit. Great flavor and super refreshing, plus it offers a fun drink even if you're not drinking. The bartender was super nice and helped break down all the options as well. The crowd at mash is more collegiate than I was expecting -- I thought a whiskey inspired bar would driver an older crowd, but the bar was packed with early 20-somethings on a Saturday night. If you show up past 9pm on the weekend, there's a good chance you won't find a seat and will have to wait 20 minutes to get through the line at the bar, but Mash serves as a great place to meet up with the crew. As we were leaving around 11, we spotted a huge line out the door trying to get in too; it seems like the collegiate clientele have really designated Mqsh as the place to be on a weekend night! Overall, I'd recommend Mash -- I'm looking forward to going back and trying out more of their menu!

What I do love about Ann Arbor is that they balance out the drunk haunts of young adults with great restaurants and high end bars for the people looking for more than a pitcher of cheap beer. Rabbit Hole is one of those spots. Down the same little alley way as Circ Bar, this underground bar is tucked away, stone hallways and open up and lead to different openings that provide seating, a dance floor and an amazingly stocked bar. If you like bourbon you will love this spot. Our bartender was fantastic, absolutely worked with me on working out a drink. I know I took a pic of an espresso martini, but my drink was made perfect also. Another nice surprise was that it wasn't some crazy price on the drink (I mean any crazier than other places and quite cheaper than around my home), especially for Ann Arbor. Walking away from the bar is a dance floor, and surrounding it are booths in a separate rooms and tables on a level up from the dance floor. There are also two hallways that lead to more booths and tables in different areas of the bar. As you can imagine this is a huge place. We came on a Friday and it wasn't very busy, but school is out and the weather had just broke so not surprising. I really enjoyed my time and the company I was with, and I would definitely go back.

Definitely a bit confusing to figure out where to go. I wish I had been given some direction. There is seating against the wall throughout the winding halls. There is a dance floor and a couple bars. I loved the look which would definitely bring me back if I had also loved the Cocktails. The drink I ordered was way too sweet. I was underwhelmed. Most of their drinks looked on the sweeter side even the bartender mentioned. For my second I just ordered a glass of bubbly. It was also on the sweeter side but an improvement. For the prices, I really don't want to have to get up, find my way back to the bar to order my drink, then walk back to my seat avoiding the people and trying not to spill.

I decided to check out the bar/lounge at the nearby Sheraton and have to say, no wonder Marriott decided to buy these guys! They have great beers on tap and great food. I had the sliders and the Santorini salad, which has fried artichokes on it. The sliders were great. Straight up beef patties on a brioche-like bun. No filler, slightly thin, but still tastes great and beefy. Just what I wanted. The Santorini salad is about twice as big as I thought it would be for $9. I really liked the greens which included butter, red, iceberg and romaine lettuces. It also had goat cheese, olives and fried artichoke hearts. Yum, but I couldn't finish it. Since I'm at the Res Inn I just took the rest with me. I also had the Blond ales on tap. Their big deal is supposed to be the wine selection, but the beer selection is very good. Perfect for slider night! Full, refreshed and ready for he long plane rides home tomorrow.

The food and service here are really good, and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. Located in the lobby of the Sheraton, you almost miss it because it is so quiet. The food ranges from quite good to really, really good. The bruschetta is distinct and fantastic. The mixture is served separately from the crustini, ensuring that the bread doesn't get soggy. And it has little pieces of fresh mozzarella in it to add even more freshness! Their fried mozzarella is also quite good, clearly freshly made. A friend had their salad and got blackened salad on it and really enjoyed it. They are happy to customize orders, whether that be food or drink.
