In terms of academics, I was able to take the best honors, AP, & dual-enrollment classes with the best teachers, who were incredibly dedicated -- even staying for hours after school, on weekends, and over the summers just to help their students be as prepared as possible for exams and competitions. The school offered a rich variety of extracurricular activities, and students had the opportunity to travel & compete nationwide on award-winning Science Olympiad, competition math, and robotics teams... just to name a few. My fellow students and I were genuinely curious, engaged, and passionate about the things we were learning and got lots of hands-on experience that we use to this day. The school also fosters a strong, close-knit community. I knew all of my teachers and administrators personally, and could tell they really cared about us as students & as the people we grew up to be. OSS introduced me to many peers that I now consider lifelong best friends. OSS's STEM-focused curriculum prepared me incredibly well for college. Since finishing high school, I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from MIT, and am currently pursuing my Master's degree as well. Many of my classmates also went to top colleges across the nation. We were immediately greeted when entered store and had the pleasure of meeting Chris who walked us through their huge assortment of specialty infused basalmics and olive oils .We loved the stories about how they allow for tastings and Chris even let me take a few samples home since I didn't want to try the open samples .Chris explained some pairings and they have recipe cards to give you some extra ideas on meals. I love to pick up bread from restaurants we frequent and these make great oils for dipping.We went with a fig basalmic and a store fave.the peach basalmic.Chris used a heat gun to seal our bottles and wrapped our bottles so they would have a safe transport since we were traveling 700 + miles home .I really appreciate the extra details . We walked around and found several other cool things that needed for the home including silicon bowl toppers and steel measuring cups for my mom. She wanted some and was happy to find them there. Highly recommend this store if go to Tallahassee. They have been around since 1999 .They have high quality items and amazing customer service.

The chef was from Albany and her "expertise" focused on creating/cooking delicious gluten free dishes. On the menu was cinnamon and spice chicken wings (sounds strange, but it works!), quinoa and sweet potato salad (my favorite), and a pumpkin spice streusel cake for dessert. Everyone enjoyed the food! The chef was very engaging and answered all questions asked. She offered various forms of substitutions for the items. There was even someone in our party who was dairy free and the chef was sure to cater to her by not adding feta cheese to her specific plate (we all had a sample of everything that was prepared). Though there was a bit of a hiccup at first in that the stove didn't seem to want to come on, a staff member in the store was able to remedy the situation and get the "touch" stove working properly. After the session, we went shopping in the store and went home with some good finds. I really love the on-the-spot, custom made vinegar/oil bottles. The entire staff was just friendly/pleasant and overall, very attentive. Notably, there is a calendar of various events as cooking sessions (demonstration or hands on), wine tasting, etc. Will plan to return.

I have taken two tests here and generally happy with my experience. I had a little trouble finding…read moreit the first time. There is no Prometric sign at the driveway entrance of Capital circle, I would recommend the management to consider putting up a conspicuous sign. But after you pick the right driveway, you have to drive to the back side of the building and there is sign next to the entrance (see pictures). There are only few parking spots but I was able to find a free spot both time. Apparently the tests I was taking were kinda uncommon and the test center staff were not familiar with policies and it created a minor issue. My tests were open book exam, and one staff told me I am not allowed more than one book. I asked her to double check because I was sure this test let me carry me a box of references. She tried to tell me I am wrong before checking carefully again which I did not like! Fortunately another staff, Jay, cleared up the confusion right away, he assured me indeed I am permitted to carry as many references I would like. They gave me a locker and key, where I kept my wallet, cellphone and car keys. They scan you like in the espionage movie, check out your ankle tattoos. Inside the test center there are maybe 15 computers. The free desk space is very small though. I had two books, I had to move the keyboard out of way to be able to flip through my references to answer various questions and do some maths. My fellow test takers were fabulous, no noisy people in the room. If you arrive a bit early than scheduled time, they also let you start the test early. Good luck, treat yourself some chocolate cake after the test whether you pass or not!
