Yummy!

This pizza shop is phenomenal! Mouthwatering pizzas, friendly service, and cozy ambiance. A must-try!

Grandma pizza missing the pepperoni I paid extra for.

Pizza was definitely delicious and huge, however I paid for pepperoni ($3 extra) and there wasn't a single piece of pepperoni to be had. Also requested 3 garlic knots and they came with no sauce. I understand restaurants get busy but this was ordered at 2 in the afternoon.

Pie w sliced meatballs, onion, black olives and peppers. Well done (personal preference). Great.
Robert G.

Local pizzeria with solid slices, good hot sandwiches and nice baked pasta dishes. I normally grab a slice or two once or twice a week. I live close by. I also order a pie or something else more substantial for a meal a couple times a month. It never disappoints. I think the owner sold out just before covid but has since returned to the business. It's a good neighborhood spot. The folks working there are really nice, it's easy to call in an order and the prices are very fair.

Delicious! The pizza is just right. I've also tried the salads here, healthy and filling best of both worlds.

Small restaurant with great food. I came here by myself as I happened to be at an appointment…read morenearby and I was hungry. The staff and the host were very nice from beginning to end. I started off with the water melon feta salad which was to die for. It was very refreshing and just what I needed. For my main course I had the ricotta cavatelli pasta with added sausage. It was one of the best pastas I've had here in the U.S. I will definitely come back for this. For dessert I had the passion fruit ricotta. It was flavorful and had a side of strawberries. Coming here is definitely worth the trip. Enjoy!!

I'll admit, I was expecting a little more from the atmosphere. Based on the menu and the food I'd seen online, I expected the décor to feel a bit more elevated. The space felt more like a step up from a pizzeria than what I had envisioned. A few thoughtful touches could go a long way in making the dining room match the quality and presentation of the food. As for the food, I have mixed feelings, although there were definitely some standout flavors. We started with the "11375" Mushrooms. They were delicious, especially the fresh ricotta with its hint of lemon, the drizzle of honey, peppery arugula, and beautifully cooked mushrooms. My only disappointment was the mushroom selection. I was expecting a mix that included something a little more special...Hen of the Woods, chanterelles, or another wild mushroom, along with the more standard button mushrooms or baby bellas. The crostini were also cut quite small, so there wasn't enough surface area to hold the ricotta, mushrooms, and arugula. Slicing the bread on a bias would give you a larger piece and make the dish much easier to eat. It simply needed more bread. With a more interesting mushroom mix and properly sized crostini, this could easily have been a five-star appetizer. I'd still order it again because that fresh ricotta was SO good. My husband ordered the fresh spinach gnocchi with Bolognese. Were the gnocchi soft little pillows of heaven? Absolutely. Unfortunately, they were so soft and lacked any sear or texture that after a few bites, the dish started to eat almost like a big bowl of mashed potatoes. A little crispness on the outside would have made a huge difference. That said, the Bolognese itself was really delicious. I ordered the rigatoni alla vodka lunch special and added meatballs. The vodka sauce was delicious, but the meatballs weren't. I prefer a softer, looser, more tender meatball. Interestingly, as much as I enjoyed the vodka sauce, the homemade marinara served with the complimentary bread was even better. That sauce was fantastic. Overall, it was a mixed experience, but there was enough that I genuinely enjoyed that I would absolutely go back and try another pasta. The homemade pasta is very good, and there's clearly a lot of potential here. And despite my critiques, I'd order those mushroom crostini again in a heartbeat, especially for that lemony fresh ricotta. With a few small tweaks, some of these dishes could go from very good to excellent.

Best F*king Cannolis in the World!!!!…read more I've eaten my way through Italy. I've gone to the places you're supposed to go, the ones people make pilgrimages for. Piana degli Albanesi, the mountain town outside Palermo that calls itself the town of cannoli, where they use sheep's milk ricotta from the pastures right there and the cannoli come out 20% bigger than anywhere else. Dattilo, the tiny frazione outside Trapani that Sicilians will argue with you about for hours over which one is better. Erice up on the cliff. Back-alley places in Naples and Rome with no sign on the door that only locals know about. I've had cannolis in towns where they've been making them for four hundred years. NOTHING! NOTHING! Nothing touches Don Peppe. Not close. Not "oh that one was good too." Nothing. The first bite is genuinely orgasmic. I'm not being cute. The shell shatters the way it's supposed to instead of bending like a stale taco, the ricotta is cold and barely sweet and tastes like it was made that morning because it was, and for about four seconds you stop talking and just close your eyes. Everyone at the table does it. Watch for it. No grit. No chalk. No sugar bomb hiding a bad filling. Just the real thing, done right, every single time. The food is good, sure. Order whatever, eat it, enjoy it. That's not why you're here. You're here for the cannolis. Order two. You'll want the second one before you finish the first, and you'll be annoyed at yourself if you have to flag someone down. Go. Get the cannolis. See the face of G-d. You can thank me later.

I ate it only because it's green and healthy for you but my other to coworker didn't . Chicken parm was basic nd couldn't even tell if the sauce was canned or made in house And the clams were overpowered by bread since they were Minnie . Not coming here again and not to mention then was so over prices for the flavors . And cash only

The inside is a pretty traditional Tuscan countryside cottage kinda vibe, with wood ceiling beams and dark wood tables and chairs. Staff was quick to pass menus and water and give us time to peruse before coming back to take orders. They have a lot of prix-fixe lunch and brunch specials--the lunch options come with Caesar salad or straciatella soup; the brunch options come with choice of alcoholic beverage (mimosa, Bloody Mary or screw driver), roasted potatoes and side salad. We ordered a bunch of items off the menu, starting with: - Calamari Fritti (fried calamari) was pretty decent, a balanced amount of breading and not too oily or salty, a fair sized portion. - Bruschetta came as one large slice of toasted bread with diced tomatoes, basil, salt and pepper on top, this was so-so, felt easily replicated at home. - Rigatoni al Ragu came as an off-menu request to accommodate children's tastes and I tried a piece of pasta, nice al dente texture, rich tomato-based meat sauce. - Brunch menu items: Steak and Eggs, Eggs Benedict, Tuscan Beans and Sausage, these were all made solidly, the potatoes were tasty and the side salad was fresh. All around everyone was happy. Rustic and homestyle is how I'd characterize their food, with good portions. In an economy where many Italian restaurants no longer offer bread with your meal, this was appreciated. My mimosa wasn't too strong and my other friend enjoyed their screwdriver. - cod filet (?) prepared with artichoke hearts - this was an off-menu item which the restaurant was kind to make for my friend as she is trying to eat healthier proteins due to cholesterol levels, thus looked pretty good and she was grateful for their flexibility. We were all very full so didn't explore dessert though if in the area next time I'd be up for trying something here!
