Lorrie and Ellen happy to be with their new friend NaiNoa

We loved our dolphin adventure!! Emily was a wonderful teacher and introduced us to her favorite friend NaiNoa, the best dolphin ever. It was a fun learning experience as well as a delightfully enjoyable and memorable day. Thank you for making my swim with a dolphin dreams come true!

This was such a fun experience. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and you can tell the dolphins are well cared for. The hotel is beautiful and it's worth staying after to check out the beach.

I was skeptical about the whole thing but I was proven wrong. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I was worried that the time would not be personalized because we were grouped with people outside of our party but Nicole did a fantastic job personalizing our experience. It was by far the best part of my visit to Hawaii. Please please support the Dolphins they are beautiful and smart.

The highlight of our family of 5's Hawaiian vacay. We had an amazing time learning about and interacting with these amazing creatures. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The time in the pools flies by but we had plenty of time for photos and one on one interactions with lots of hands on experiences. Upgrade to get the photos- they are well worth it.

    Waiting for our group tour..

What an unforgettable experience we had with our dolphin Nainoa. Emily (our trainer) was very knowledgeable about these beautiful creatures. Highly recommended!

Let see how many adventures we can fit into one day. Swimming with the dolphins is something I've been dreaming of doing for a long time. Here at the Kahala owned by I believe The four Seasons they have this dolphin experience. Gorgeous, Wow, My heart is overflowing. I can't stop smiling and I feel like life can't possibly get any better than today'. Lauren, Kimberly & the rest of the team really are kind souls. They truly cared that we had the best experience possible. The photographer's do a tremendous job capturing all the must have shots. http://dolphinequest.com 100% Happy Happy Happy

Located at the gorgeous iconic Kahala Hotel, Dolphin Quest Oahu is an incredible lifetime memory experience. There are age restrictions on swimming with dolphins, but this DVM-founded program offers a tiny tot experience dockside for kids up to 4 years old. For myself and my kiddo and including a digital photo package we paid just under $400. Kahala is valet only and they park your car. Dolphin quest in the middle of the hotel grounds, validates parking for four hours. We were paired with a staff member, another mom and 4 year old, and Hua the youngest dolphin present. I think it is important to note that the pod of dolphins here is all the males in a small family, father, children. Each pair of parent and got got to separately spend individual time with Hua, learn commands and feed Hua fish! Hua was super healthy, curious, inquisitive, coming up out of the water to eye us and hang out. I swear he smiled. I could see him eyeballing us curiously- just as curious as we were about him! The grounds are beautiful and the lagoon is large. 10/10 would recommend for the experience.

I brought my own goggles but you don't need goggles. The life vest they give you keeps your head above water.

Absolutely top notch! Such an amazing educational and hands-on experience. I learned more about dolphins than I had watching the many documentaries of them throughout my life. Amber, our Dolphin trainer guide, immediately learned all 6 of our names and spoke to us as she swam, directed, and interacted with the dolphins and the group. I was very impressed at the professionalism of the entire Dolphin Quest team. It was great to see the dolphins very active even when the tour/class was not going on. I really got the sense that they were happy. Our Dolphin, Hua, really reminded me of my dog, Squishy, in the way he interacted with all the humans. Unforgettable experience!

Next time we visit we'll be swimming with dolphins. I had to take my kids here and yes it's a little pricey but for me seeing my son have a blast makes the price all worth it. The staff were soooo amazing! I just love them! This was also my first time up close with dolphins too :-) I highly recommend trying this place out when you visit Hawaii

While 'Im not much of a tour bus enthusiast, to ensure that my clients end up with a good one-- I decided to try Nui Tours. Unfulfilled promises by Jack (the owner): small group, Mercedes Van, all of the stops, snorkeling at a specific beach, we did not want to stop at certain places and were told we could customize, souvenir hats, 2 bottles of champagne, unlimited juices/snacks/drinks, and the discounted price per person. What we got: the bus was 30 minutes late, no one answers the phone number, HUGE OLD TOUR BUS (58 people), we did not get to choose our stops or how long we stopped somewhere, they had water bottles and Pringles (no juice/no champagne/no other snacks that were promised), and on top of several other things-- they charged us full price. WE ARE STILL AWAITING A REFUND of the amount that was overcharged. Jack has lied to us, taken zero accountability, and still refuses to answer the phone. I can't help to think that half of his warrants are for fraud at this point. There is no clear communication and several tour companies show up at the same location, so if you got suckered into these tours-- please verify with each driver to see if your name is on their list. Please choose a different touring company to support. If you have a car rented and need help planning your endeavors, feel free to reach out. Good luck out there!

Multiple guests were getting seasick, as the Captain tried his best to navigate the waters. One guest nearly fainted and after that, the atmosphere on the boat changed. The Captain wasn't talking much and it seemed as if he just wanted to get back to the dock. Knowing the weather conditions, I wish the tour was rescheduled. We saw some fish and barely saw a turtle. I know the tour doesn't guarantee seeing wildlife, but it was disappointing hardly seeing anything in the glass bottom. To add, the glass bottom is just 4 boxes that you have to peek over to see. I didn't get seasick, so it was still nice to be out on the water and enjoying the views of the ocean. Prior to the incident, the captain was very educational and funny. Overall, had the tour been on a different day with more permitting weather, I think it would've been great.

But despite being called a "Dolphin and You" tour, there is only dolphin WATCHING from the boat -- no swimming with dolphins. They also only stop at one snorkel spot in shallow waters.m whereas most companies have you snorkel at 2. Maybe if I had never been on another tour, I would have thought this was good, but I'd only recommend this for people who want to mainly watch things from the boat and not snorkel. I honestly saw more marine life where I live in OC. On a previous tour with a different company, I swam in waters where dolphins were swimming all around and underneath me -- it was a core memory, and I was hoping to recreate that experience. They also don't let you swim very far from the boat, which made the experience feel overly restrictive. Because the website is not clear I will lay down the iternary: 6:00am pick-up from hotel (about 1.5 hrs to get there) Restroom stop at Fareharbor 1 hr dolphin watching--basically your just on a boat 1 hr snorkel--will see sparse fish 1 hr return--will give you sandwich and water cups no water bottles, temporary tattoo offered Return to hotel: another 1.5 hrs to drop everyone off etc Kind of waste of money $180+ and my precious vacation time. Also, be wary of the reviews. They offer incentives for leaving one. Sorry, but as a Yelp Elite, my honest opinion can't be bought.

We did the turtle tour on 5/13 at 8:30 in the morning. They teach everyone how to use the given gear, they antifog the goggles beforehand and sanitize all the gear well afterwards. They have snacks, water, and ginger ale. We saw two turtles within a couple arms lengths at the surface (you can't touch them but gosh they were so close!). We also saw about seven turtles chilling on the bottom. Tons of reef fish swimming so close to us too. The crew makes sure to point out turtles so you don't miss them. It was my first time in open water and the crew was welcoming from the start. They separate the groups so if you can't swim or are not great at swimming, you can stay back and hold onto a blue mat in the water where they teach you and help you feel comfortable in open water first. Even though I vomited afterwards (yes I took plenty of motion sickness medication ahead of time!), I highly recommend the experience. It's unlike anything else. The crew is so funny, they normalized not being able to swim well or motion sickness so you don't feel embarrassed. They get in the water with you (not all crews do!) and were super attentive, and encouraging. I felt safe enough that I was able to learn, get confident in the water and join the others and I still felt like I had plenty of great snorkeling time. Overall, GREAT company for actually seeing turtles! GREAT for inexperienced swimmers and people who get motion/sea sickness! If you're determined, you can still do it. The crew made me feel safe the entire time! You've got this, you only live once!
