I've come here twice now and Daisy always gets me right! The first time, I came in July (2023) and asked for highlights and showed a photo. My hair looked SO much better than before and I was really happy with how it came out. I came back in 4 mo later in November for a root touch up / maintenance and again, Daisy just knew how to revive my hair and make it beautiful again. The prices are good for the value and inside is so cute! Really spacious, a table with books and snacks, and they also sell misc accessories. I was really nervous to step into a new salon after past experiences with bad hair salons. But Dolled Up Salon saved me! I needed my hair to be colored since my roots were growing out already! I also wanted a change in my hair! When I left, I felt like a brand new person! I love the environment in the salon. Even if I didn't talk to all the hair stylists, everyone seemed so sweet and nice! I was referred to this place by a coworker so i walked in a week or so before to get a consultation and make an appointment. The girl helped me with booking my appointment and did my hair was named Daisy! She was really sweet throughout the whole process and really asked my opinion on things. Erika is the best stylist I could ask have asked for and I love the energy she brings every time I see her.. she's super sweet and excellent at knowing what I would want Pros the place is located local to me and I enjoy the convenience of not having to travel far Prices are very affordable you can't go wrong for quality work. The Parking is decent a little tight for my pilot at times but pick a Conner spot and you should be good Con just making sure I can book her she's not always available on weekends which is convenient for me but honestly going to see her durning the week and taking a small break from my norm was so beyond what i needed so I'm the end this con proved to be a pro !! I believe all the stylist here are great but I've been getting work from Erika now for a while and I can't imagine going anywhere else she's so great! I went to another Salon for an Ombre and they bleached and brittled my beautiful curls. I never thought I would be a girl who cries over her hair... but man. I CRIED. I had seen Blanca's work through IG and loved her color transitions (which is what needed to look for as I needed a color correction). Negative stars. Went to get a simple short cut. Showed a picture of what I wanted, was really nothing complicated. She said she could do it. HORRIBLE! The girl gave me a straight chopped look! No layers, no nothing! Did not look like the photo AT ALL! My bangs were horrible too. I really think I would have cut better side bangs. What hurt most was the fact that I had long hair and was hesitant to go short. I have someone I go to regularly and thought I'd get a good cut here based on some pictures on Instagram. I should have taken a good look at the people who rave about them, it explains a lot. My 2 year old could have given me a better cut. I went straight to my regular to get it fixed. Never. Again. This review is regarding Daisy for threading. I haven't tried their other services but I heard they're pretty good too! I've been coming to Daisy to get threaded for over 5 years now. I went to her to get my eyebrows threaded when she worked at another salon, and she did a phenomenal job then and still does now every single time! I've been to other places to get threaded, and a pet peeve of mine is that a lot of people thread off too much, making my eyebrows too thin. Daisy does the perfect amount of cleaning up while helping maintain the shape of my eyebrows. She's extremely careful and consistently does a good job! For me, this salon is a farther location, but for Daisy, it's definitely worth it! read more

I love Steff! She used to cut in Torrance and moved to this location so I followed. I love how she cuts my hair. I'm very low maintenance. I shower and don't do much with my somewhat thin curly hair. Steff is able to style cut it so that I can rub minimal air product in and get out the door. Totally would recommend her! Both of my sisters also use her for their cuts and hair dye. read more
