I'm new to the area and I haven't cut my hair in a while. I knew I was due for a haircut so I decided to try this place out. The facility is clean and the staff is very nice and there's a lot of parking so I had no trouble finding this place. I had asked for a V-cut since I usually get a U-cut, but I wanted something a little different. I wanted to keep my length but the lady cutting my hair suggested I cut off my dry ends. I didn't think she'd cut too much off but she did cut off around 3-4 inches. My hair does tend to grow relatively fast so I didn't mind as it was probably for the best. She did cut my hair and showed me the mirror to see if my hair was fine. It was a little difficult to see since my hair was in the back and I did trust that she did a fine job. However, after a few days with my haircut, and now finally straightening it, I can see that it wasn't exactly a precise cut. When I bring my hair to the front, it's noticeable that one side is longer than the other and less cut. When I bring it to the back, I do see that it is a V-cut, but it's not as precise as I mentioned earlier. This has been bugging me so I will have to search for another location to correct the slight mistake. I paid $45 since my hair is/was long. Either than that, they are nice. read more

I came to get my hair trimmed and it came out just as beautiful as the first time Christine cut it. I called to see if she was available and indeed she was. When I arrived at the salon, she was the only one working bc the other hair stylist had just left. Once I sat in her chair, she got straight to business. Other clients started to come in while she was working on my hair but not once did I feel like she was rushing. I got a wash, trim, and style all within an hour and it came out FABULOUS. This place is a butcher shop. I wanted to try a new salon in the area since I just moved here not too long ago. But I wish I never found this place. It had good reviews on both google and yelp, so I was like why not try it. I showed the lady my inspiration picture of mid shoulder length hair with layers and curtain bangs. But I left the with a bob :( the hair barely reaches the back of my neck. The layers are also uneven and jagged. She just kept chopping away as if she was trying to correct it. Then she just kept saying give it a few months to look better. I can't tell you how upset I am. I'm not normally a person to leave bad reviews but I couldn't ignore this. My hair has a mind of it's own: it's thick, wavy, and decides whether it wants to be parted on the right or the left, and if it's gonna be a good or bad hair day. Hence I cut my hair short once a year, then let it grow long until the next time I can get to a decent stylist. I'm back in SoCal for a short time so I figure I better get a haircut.
