Tell me why it's so easy to go into this store and spend too much money??…read more They literally have something for everyone. I walked out with a moonstone ring (that is super high quality and I haven't taken off since I bought it), an adorable amethyst bracelet that was on sale, and a geode for my husband to crack open and see what's inside. Plus a lot of other little crystals for the house. I could spend hours in here reading and collecting all the things I want! They were also super helpful, telling us where to find certain gems, and finding me the perfect ring. They have a lot of really cool items on sale/affordable as well. Definitely worth a trip in, especially if you're a crystal girly!

Review change from 5 to 2 stars: 5 years ago I posted a 5…read morestar review based on 1 or 2 interactions. Since then, I have gained more knowledge and consulted with many geologists, and other businesses that supply crystals, gem, and rocks; and I've learned that STLRocks, does NOT ROCK! Unfortunately after many encounter, lately I have come to understand the owners are in it for profit only, don't have the knowledge needed to help customers. When asked about quality, sources or even just the properties of an item they got very defensive. They sell lab heat treated quartz and amethyst as other crystals while still calling them "natural." Educate yourself before buying anything. They are business people, out to make money with lack of transparency on their products. They are very evasive when asked too many questions.

Couple of weeks before Christmas 2023 I stopped in Hudson's to have my rings looked at. While I am…read morewaiting, I spotted the prettiest Ruby ring and asked if I could look at it. I put it on and fell in love. The wonderful salesperson at Hudson's talked with me about the ring I thanked them and gave them their ring back. There was no high-pressure sales tactics, and the salesperson was so very nice. A couple weeks later I called to see if they still had the ring, and to my good fortune they did. I talked with the salesperson again and asked if I could put it on layaway, all the while chatting about life in general with all the salespeople and the owner. The owner informed me that a family member just had a kidney transplant that morning and I felt an overwhelming joy for the young man which brought me to tears. I explained to the Owner and sale staff (I was the only one in the store as they were getting ready to close) that I had lost my kidney and spleen in a horrible accident a few years back. As we all talked, I did not notice the owner, or my salesperson disappear to the back of the store. It was getting late, so I asked how much I needed to put down on the layaway, the salesperson started doing something on the register I gave him my card and he handed me the receipt. The total was 1 Cent! I was confused I started to ask questions when the owner came out from the back and handed me the Ruby ring. At first, I was confused until the owner told me that the ring was a gift from them!! I burst into tears and ugly cried for a while. The owner and I hugged, and I kept saying thank you thank you. After many happy tears were spilled and hugs were given and conversation, I headed to my car to head home. I was feeling very Blessed that evening and even today when I look down and see the ruby on my finger, I know that there are still good, people in the world. Thank you, Hudson Jewelry, for making my Christmas Bright! If you are looking for a jewelry store with no high-pressure sales tactics and true compassion for others, please stop in and look around the jewelry is exquisite, but the staff is really what makes Hudson shine!
