The last time I was here was yesterday for their October 2016 sale. I went on the last day of the October sale, and I found that the selection wasn't as good as from their sales about a year ago. First off, there wasn't much selection for women, and a lot of their merchandise are for guys. Last year, I was able to find a $10 warm hoodie, but now, the cheapest one I could find was $40 and I got the last piece with my right size. My fiance was able to purchase many hoodies, and there was a lot in stock - for guys. This time though, I was impressed by the abundance of Timberland shoes, I was able to purchase a couple of men's boots for my fiance with a good price. I checked my receipt and the calculated average of savings I get is 50%. I would recommend still checking this place out, as this is a big warehouse sale, and they have a lot of different types of clothing to shop for. They have hoodies, sweaters, t-shirts, work-out clothes, work pants, winter boots, safety shoes, winter jackets, golf apparels, even beauty products and jewelery! The warehouse is very organized, they have a lot of staff who can help, and the check out process was also fast and efficient. Review 100 of 100 - YAYY!

Went shopping today at the Heritage Mall in Owen Sound. It was my husband and myself. We were…read morebrowsing clothing and such in the few stores they have left and out of no where two security guards showed up out of no where. They never once approached us or said anything to us. They followed us from one store to the next. We were not doing anything wrong and the only reason I can think of as to why they were profiling us is because my husband has ADHD and possibly autism, which makes him very hyper and sometimes clumsy. I feel like they were being discriminatory towards us due to my husbands hyper active behaviour or they were racist and automatically assumed that because we are native american that we must be shop lifting. Regardless of their reasoning it was very disappointing that these security guards were wasting time following us around under the assumption that we were going to shop lift instead of actually paying attention to other individuals that were more than likely shoplifting because the security guards were so focused on us and completely oblivious to what else was going on around them. I would like to warn any native americans planning on shopping here of the racial profiling that you may go through as well as any hyper active adhd individuals of being profiled as well. Get it together Heritage Mall, you cannot afford to lose customers or business. So inform your security guards not to follow your customers around for no reason trying to find a reason to justify their actions. Due to this negative interaction I choose to take my business else where and will try to pass on this experience to all friends and family so that they do not have to go through what we did today.

But, and this "but" is serious. While we were there a woman entered not wearing a mask. No staff member asked this woman to wear a mask or why she was not. She proceeded to walk through the store again maskless;. At the cash area, she was behind me and I asked her "where is your mask" Her reply was "if you did any research you would know I do not have to wear a mask and neither should anyone else" I thought oh great a conspiracy follower and did not respond. But what bothered me was as I was leaving the store the cashier said to thid lady in my hearing "that was a good answer you gave to her". I have no problem with personal beliefs, having said that I am extremely high high risk. What bothered me most was this employee is purposely not maintaining the Health department and Ministry of health regulations to help stop the spread of this deadly virus therefore putting others at risk. I feel she should have approached this customer and at least asked where her mask was and with a nonmedical exemption answer reminded this customer of the rules every business is supposed to follow. I have been in medicine for over 40 years, have seen lots of noncompliant humans. I don't have time to change minds if they are ignorant to this pandemic. But I do not wish to frequent an establishment that does not comply to recommended health department advice that we are all supposed to follow. I think this establishment needs to instruct their staff to keep their opinions to themselves and help us as a community ensure the safety of their clients. I will not be shopping in this establishment again. Too risky at this time. I did report to the Health department so I am hoping they will be reminded of their obligation to our community .

You do have to go up to the front counter to open boxes if you want to see what's inside (some boxes are obvious but others are not so clear). You can also test electrical products by plugging it in. I wish when they reseal it, they at least label the box to let the next person know what's inside so if they're not interested, they don't waste their time opening it. Just be aware, things that don't work are thrown back in the bin but the staff would let me know if they recognize what it is or if it works before I attempt. This month I peeked in and found some great finds like a neck massager retailing at $50-60 for $20 and today, I've found Coop pillow for $20 completely sealed and unused! What a score 10% of the retail price! There are other Amazon pillows there too but I think people didn't know about this brand so they passed by it. This pillow is great, at the top end of pricing and highly recommended on Reddit. I also have one myself and enjoy it (not the cooling one though so this Eden one would be great for the warmer months). Do I need another one? Probably not but it is the thrill of the find, that keeps people coming back. The neck massager works well and I have it to use while I relax on my couch.
