Wish no stars was an option !!! My mother in law was stopped wrongfully and loudly accused of stealing when she went through a till to pay for her groceries and was overcharged !! When she asked to speak to a manager all he had to say was sorry and walked away . No attempt to make the situation better . Embarrassing my poor mother in law ( who has had a major back surgery and walks with a limp ) after she shopped for 2 hours to make Christmas good for the family .this is NOT easy to do in her condition and when a call was made to attempt yet again get an apology and an attempt to make this right she mentioned only going to wasaga she got threatened by saying " well I hope it doesn't happen to you at our other store " we shop at Walmart for all of our family essentials and sure as hell will not be returning . Not only was there no attempt to make this better there has been NO accountability taken but they admitted to profiling based off her limp which is a MASSIVE human rights violation . To be honest... This Walmart sucks, especially for tourist. Everything is mainly off brand or they just don't sale it. Which is a inconvenience because we have to take a taxi from the village in order to get here to a Walmart with barley groceries... The clerks were not much of a big help as well. Disappointing because I was looking forward to cooking some stew or gumbo, but we ended up cooking nachos with just Tostitos cheese, meat and jalapeño. read more

A cute and tiny Walmart in the center of Collingwood. It's a bit different from the big giant walmarts that i came to know. This one is actually pretty small. Hence, no Deli section, not a big selection in the meats and produce department. As far as I can see,, that is pretty much what we came here for. We came to buy items for us to cook in our airbnb rented apartments. Seems like the best way to have a frugal good meal on a Blue Mountain Ski vacation. It's not bad, we did get some meats for dinner, some sausages for breakfast, sauces to flavor the meats and even drinking water for the length of our stay. Like I said before, it might not have been the biggest walmart I've been too, but it's good enough to satisfy our NEEDS. The employees are very nice, approachable and extremely helpful. The aisles are a bit narrow, but everything is pretty much faced and properly arranged. I like this walmart, I'd shop here again if I lived here. read more

Walmart Collingwood had very limited supply of Souvenirs. I was disappointed in the selection. If you are looking for a variety of souvenirs this particular Walmart is not a good choice. The store itself is very small and well organized. Also, It had snowed the day before and they did not clear the parkland lot of the snow which made it difficult to park and walk inside the store. read more

My sister was refused service (after already being let into the store) for not wearing a mask even though she has a medical exemption. Workers clearly don't know the Canadian charter of rights. 0/10 experience. Wouldn't recommend. Wouldn't go back. 10/10 Disappointed with the employees ignorance and lack of knowledge. read more

We went to make groceries, but it was limited selection. Small store but has household and basic essentials. Just go to checker, don't do self checkout it takes to long. But it will do for small items, 5 cents each bag used. read more

This is the worst Walmart I have ever had the displeasure of shopping in and unfortunately it's the closest one to me so I am forced to shop there on a regular basis. This Walmart is supposed to be a "supercentre". You mean super terrible. It's still the size of a regular Walmart, but they tried to cram a grocery section into it which ended up sacrificing products and departments that people actually liked. Ever since it became a "supercentre" it went downhill. My #1 gripe I have is that shelves are rarely re-stocked. Items will remain out of stock for MONTHS at a time (not exaggerating - wish I was...). I am not the only person who agrees on this - I have heard a lot of other people say the same exact thing. My #2 gripe is that not once, not twice, but MULTIPLE occasions this Walmart has discontinued ordering popular items that I would buy on a regular basis. Now I can't get those items anymore unless I travel far afield. Staff needs to be more familiar with the products they sell and where they are located. I know Walmart will never actually give a crap about whether their stores are up to standard or not, since they basically have the monopoly on the department store market here in Ontario. I just had to vent about how downright horrible this store is. If you can get your items anywhere else, do it. Don't shop here unless you absolutely have to. PS: another thing. I know someone who bought a hunting rifle case from this Walmart, and the lady at the checkout told him that he should be "ashamed of himself" for buying it. GREAT STAFF (sarcasm) read more

I have the misfortune of having to shop at this Walmart far to often. Not well organized with a limited poor selection. Next closest location is more than a 20 minute drive one way. Pharmacy staff are great. They are the best thing about this store. They provide no seating for seniors near the front door so they can wait till a car is there to be picked up. They would rather they walk in snow and ice to the parking lot and risk falling or getting hurt. I have spoke to the manager many times and says Head Office won't allow seating for handicap or seniors at the front entrance( I doubt that) Small selection of everything. They close all the express cash so you have to go through self check out, if you want to pay cash for your 6 items you have to line up behind full carts. NOT VERY GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had a small concern, involving an out of stock item. Customer Service at this store was not only unhelpful, the counter woman was rude. I escalated the matter, the manager called me a few days later, he left a message. I returned his call, he was not available. Customer Service, same woman as near as I could tell, would not transfer me to voice mail, would not take a message, and when I asked her to identify herself by name or employee ID, she refused, put me on hold, where I remain even as a write this, now going on twenty minutes.... read more

Just like any other Walmart except I'm accustomed to there being a McDonald's in the Walmart but this one has a Tim Hortons

Manager Josh at this location made my day. The automotive section was closed but he was kind enough to open it and help me look for my tire size. It took quite a bit of searching to find them. Where as most managers would have told me they are out of stock, Josh searched every shelf to find them. I am pleasantly surprised one can still get great customer service at a big department store! read more
