We received all of our Covid vaccine appointments at this location. Fast easy booking, no line ups or wait times. The gentleman that assisted us was amazingly patient with our questions and concerns relating to not only our doses (3 each) but for our kids as well. They are great at follow ups regarding prescriptions and call backs when required. There is plenty of parking, but it is a busy lot with traffic passing through to the other stores nearby.

This is a 'fancy' convenience store. They carry some fun British snacks but I feel they are very expensive. I would only pick up maybe one or two at a time, but at least they carry them I suppose. They have a good selection of British chips, chocolate and cookies, so if that's what you're looking for, you're in luck! It has a UPS drop off point which is convenient. I guess all said and done, it's a fun store to pop in to every now and then. I just wish I could afford more!

Afterwards, I typically pop by Dollar Tree to browse and shop. I was in the area the other day and decided to drop by. I prefer Dollar Tree to Dollarama. I like the selection and everything is $1.25. At the latter, there are items that even go for $4.25. What's the point of being a dollar store if you are paying dollars for a single item? I suppose that we can blame our Canadian dollar competing with the American one when it comes to Dollarama pricing. Anyway, this Dollar Tree is the only one in Markham. I love the selection of items, from sardines, to dumplings and chicken in cans. I also love the noodle section. The seasonal section is awesome. Easter is nearly here. You can get scented Easter bunny plush toys and a ton of chocolate items. Nice! Staff are friendly. I managed to witness two staff members training a new one. They were much younger than the new hire, but were incredibly supportive of her progress. I still miss the awesomeness of Dollar Tree in the States. Perhaps one day, the frozen food section will magically appear in Canadian stores. In the meantime, I am pleased to get decent items that are cheap and of good quality here. (132)

Unfortunately did not get…read morehis name but my mom who is diabetic felt her sugar get low and decided to open a bag of chips to keep her steady until she got home. I then heard a man who apparently was the manager yelling across the store making fun of my mom for eating her chips. we had not paid for them yet but had no intention of leaving without paying as I'm sure many people do the same while shopping. I confronted him and asked him why he is making fun of my mom and he did apologize but still made me feel like I was being mocked. No eye contact no explanation just sorry sorry without listening to anything I said. He was more so sorry that he Was called out, rather than sorry that he openly made fun of a customer. Then his coworker chimed in and said it's not allowed to eat in store before paying. I understand that that might be true but that doesn't warrant his behaviour making fun of a helpless customer especially loudly across the store. I was actually walking towards him to ask for help as he was making fun of my mom and the whole experience made me feel very uncomfortable and I was unable and unwilling to ask for help in the end and left my shopping unfinished. i unfortunately did not get his name but he was an asian man working there at 4:30 pm on Dec 31 2024 and the cashier actually told me that he was intact the manager. If a manager is so openly rude then I can't imagine what the rest of the employees are able to get away with.
