It is one of the places that sells things that don't look like they can fall apart easily and they have some of the things that you can't find in other dollar stores such as pots and trellis for gardening. It is metered parking on the side street and prices are upwards from $1 to $20, but the items are nicer. They don't have as much food items as other dollar stores, but they have quite a selection on the themes that they do have.

You'll find a number of items, food and other items that are very Canada specific, such as Maple syrup, Maple tea, and other maple-related snacks. We also found it hard to find a shop where you can find clothing that lasts and is very comfortable. We picked up a couple fleece and shirts here and they survived the wash and are still comfortable weeks later, and they were such a good price, nearly half of what you'd expect. The deals on standard keychains and magnets were also very good so we bought dozens.

I got the last one mind you, but that's not the point I'm making here. The young woman at the cash was working alone, and juggling customers needs both at the cash drawer and the self check out. I was having a problem with my transaction at the self checkout and she proactively approached to help (I had my earbuds in lol) even though she was noticeably busy. She even intuited that I needed wrapping paper because one of my items was a coffee mug and she had it out ready for me. She did this all seamlessly and cheerfully meanwhile attending to other customers. It was like she had four hands and eyes on the back of her head. This girls' a star. They sell pretty much the same kind of items a typical dollar store would, cheap tools and random supplies. The good thing is that they also sell the typical decent cheap but decent actual headphones for $4 and random cables that you couldn't usually find at Dollar Tree due to the prices. So in terms of electronics, these Dollarama is definitely a good place to go to. But at the end, this place is pretty much no more no less just another Dollaram, so if you've been to one before, it's pretty much the same.

The area is very dirty and not well maintained. Once in the store the shelves are very high and narrow. It is a very overwhelming feeling if you are sensitive to small spaces/claustrophobic. The amount of items in there is very overwhelming as well. I didn't stay long and mostly stuck to the snacks and candy. They have a large area near the check out that has candy, gum etc. Purchased an aero bar, coffee crisp, kit kit and toffee candy bar. For 4 candy bars (I either didn't get a receipt, didn't take it or lost it but it was $4.07 USD. There were 3 self check outs and one staff there to check out as well. Saw employees in aisles but only one at registers. Overall it was an underwhelming and overwhelming experience and I would not go out of my way to go back if in the area.
