I really only try to come in here for the basic and I barely can even get that from in here. The store has changed several times there's always a line. The workers aren't the nicest. The parking lot in this area is awful. It's also right next-door to the hair store so it can get crazy. Good thing is you can walk from across the other side of the parking lot. Stock: very low always out of things. The app shows is there but when you get there and it's not in stock. Staff said it's due to theft. I rarely come here often because it's just not a good experience. The shelves are always bare. the store can get junkie. This location seriously needs to do better. The manager does not seem to care about their employees' health or concerns at all. I came in one day and one of the cashiers was visibly very sick, yet she was still working the register right by the front doors. When I expressed concern for her health, she told me she had to come in or she was afraid of losing her job. That is unacceptable, no one should feel forced to work while sick. There is almost always only one cashier, and the lines wrap around the store. Management clearly sees this and only steps in once things get overwhelming, but by then the cashier has already been dealing with unnecessary stress from customers and long lines. The store itself is usually cluttered and disorganized. On top of that, employees are often outside smoking and then come back inside smelling like weed, which feels very unprofessional in a customer-facing environment. Overall, this place feels poorly managed and uncomfortable to shop in. I've never experienced anything like this at a Dollar Tree before. read more

The cashier Bryan ( the name off my receipt) was very rude . I was 3rd in line and watched him be rude to the 2 people in front of me . Each asking a simple question the response giving was in a very rudely tone and with a poor attitude. I even asked , "Did he not want to come to work today "? Staff will have the door open with trashcan blocking the entrance at 9am but tell customers they aren't open and boxes are all over the door

Now I've had opportunities to visit many dollar trees throughout PA and when comparing this location to the others, it is falls on the lower end of the scale of quality. It deserves a complete remodel or move next door to the larger retail space for lease in the plaza. A larger space would serve them well and would allow for additions such as a frozen food section. This store is disheveled and unkempt; items are on the floor or thrown around the aisle rather than on the shelves. The employees SHOULD be maintaining the appearance of the store throughout the day. The flooring and ceiling should've been repaired or replaced as it is very old and stained from leaks or spills. They are usually (somewhat) stocked but the items are often dusty. The employees are friendly whenever checking out. I also really like that this Dollar Tree participates in many causes where customers can donate to those causes (i.e. food bank, gifts for children in need). A remodel or occupying a larger space would really enhance the shopping experience for a diverse demographic of customers. We as customers should also be cognizant of being a conscientious shopper (e.g. putting things back where it belongs and putting trash in the trash bin rather than the shelves!). After climbing over spilled inventory, through a valley of notebooks and a sea of people in a line that wrapped around, I was able to find what I was looking for. Though this one is tucked away, it gets a ton of traffic. I don't know, maybe because it was back to school season but the place was a MESS. Dollar trees are my favorite dollar stores because everything truly is a DOLLAR! So, from that perspective it served its purpose. However, during a busy season like back to school shopping they should have had more staff to tend to the store and work at the registers. read more

I should know better to keep coming to this place, but it's so close to home and everything is a dollar. To begin, this place is a MESS! The place just needs a complete renovation inside and out. I've found really unique items over the years. But it increasingly feels like it's becoming a health hazard to visit this store. I sanitize my hands and wipe off the items when I come home. The workers aren't working in clean conditions. Cedarbrook as a whole has some kind of bad karma or juju going on that makes everything there deteriorate. I give credit for the times the workers neatly stock the aisles, but it doesn't take long for it to be messed up by customers. And they don't regularly straighten it up. I have found other better dollar trees. Yet I will continue to keep going because I like finding things for a dollar. read more

I purchased items at the Dollar Tree in Cedarbrook Plaza on Friday ( May 12) in Wycote, PA and it was the worst experience ever. There were only two cashiers and over 20 people both lines. When I first walked into the store, one of the cashier's was arguing loudly about not staying an extra ten minutes past her shift with the manager. The manager not one time jumped on a register and rang until the lone went down. Never have I ever worked at any store where management doesn't help their employees. She has a very professional demeanor and has a nasty attitude. The older cashier Patricia, also had a nasty and unprofessional attitude and when asked about getting another cashier had a nasty response but still the manager offered no help. I have been going to this location for 3 years now and have seen too many quit because of poor management. They offer a survey on the receipt but when I tried reach a customer service representative, the automated kept repeating itself. I want this store removed. Help read more

I recently made a stop at the Dollar Tree in Cedarbrook Plaza, Wyncote PA to pick up some gift bags. I was appalled when I walked in to see filthy floors that obviously had not been cleaned in weeks. Every isle was covered in dirt, and trash. The store freezer had more empty boxes than food and upon looking on one of the shelves where potato chips and other snack food was I saw visible evidence that there is a problem with mice. When I spoke to the manager about the stores' condition she informed me that the district manager told her the store does not take in enough revenue to hire a clean-up crew. This is unacceptable!!! I would not want anything from that store even if they were giving it away!!! I have spoken with the plaza's manager but after checking the store out again I see I need to take it a step further to Dollar Tree corporate office. The next step is L&I. This is the worst Dollar Tree ever. The store was so junky with boxes all over as if they don't stock anything just leave it in the boxes. I could not find the gallons of water so I ask an employee where they were. she pointed to a corner in the front of the store where they were in stock boxes. One is out but I want to purchase two. So I shift through five empty boxes on top and give up. I also have a toddler in my arms. I get to thw register, and I asked the associate am I supposed to open those boxes myself to get gallons of water out. He said yes that is how it is supposed to be done. I said I don't mean to be rude but I have been to a ton of other dollar trees and have never seen that done where the customer is supposed to unpack a stock box. The lady at the register behind him cuts in and asks what my problem is. I explained to her and she begins to argue with me that I am supposed to get the water out myself and that's what customers do otherwise I should have just asked and they would have done it for me. She was being very rude talking over me and being very loud to the point where everyone else in the store was looking. She was very unprofessional and try to embarrass me by making it seem like my request was unreasonable. I just walked out and told them that I would call corporate that I was not going to argue with her but I don't think that the customer should have to unpack stock boxes. Not to mention they are giving out trash bags to customers because they do not have any dollar tree grocery bags. read more
