I happen to be in the West Palm Beach area meeting a friend for coffee and stopped by this Ollie's. Good timing. It's a pretty big outlet with lots of affordable options on new items. I will say the book selection here is quite nice. I saw a lot of cool books that I would definitely buy. I have way too many books as is, so I didn't need to buy that many more. Ha. The prices were fair and a really good deal. They have another location in the Delray Beach area as well. Unfortunately, they don't have any Ollie's locations closer to me, but that's ok because I don't need to spend more money on BOOKS!!! This was a good find all in all and I'm glad I got to stop by and check it out. They sell tons of other stuff too but I was laser focused on the books during this trip.

I also got a cute pair of flamingo socks for my dad and another pair of SmartWool hiking socks that were marked $22 but rang up at $6. Nice! Definitely ask for the prices at check out. They had discounts on top of discounts, so a few of the SPF shirts that we bought were heavily discounted and a few we left at the store. I do think one can still score some great deals here but the layout has changed and not for the better. It doesn't have the same vibe it once did. Obviously, it's a step down from Nordstrom but the same level of charm and customer service was offered long ago and I don't see this nowadays. Granted, the majority of cashiers who've assisted me are lovely but it's simply not the same level of customer service as in the past. I'm also not a fan of the hoardersville impulse items near the registers - giving off the Marshalls & TJ Maxx vibes but not the same prices. Love those stores, not hating but it isn't what old school Nordstrom Rack aesthetic offered. If we are junking it down, go ahead and decrease the prices too. Some items available include accessories, books, collectibles, clothing, housewares, and small furniture items. They offer weekly specials and have a convenient sheet outlining these for customers to grab on their way into the store. Overall, I found most of the merchandise to be fairly priced with the exception of clothing. I thought many garments were overpriced. I left with a few collectible items and I'd absolutely return.
