The selection of books for toddlers is excellent, with a lot of interactive and pop-up books that kids love. The food items were lacking, but everything I saw was fresh/in date. Susan, the proprietor, was just the loveliest lady and a gracious host! Me and my friend felt welcomed by her and she helped us find what we were looking for. My friend is redecorating her house and wanted mid-century items and Susan was just a rock star, running around finding things she'd be interested in. She finally found a set of pastel 1950s dinner plates that were just perfect! They were almost 400.00 for the whole set, but was willing to hear my friend's counter-offer. It definitely feels like one of those places where you have to take your time and dig a little to find the best deals. My original plan was to look at their book selection but when I walked in I decide to do a full lap around the entire store. Ollie's is pretty large, think mini warehouse. It reminds me of Big Lots but more organized and on a bigger scale. Home goods, decor, books, beauty products and food. You can find plenty of deals here. I only purchased a few word search books as their overall book selection was not impressive. There were 2 cashiers working and they moved very quickly. The lady that checked me out greeted me as I walked up and even gave me the price of an item that didn't have a sticker to make sure I was willing to pay that amount.
