Ollie's is a chain of discount stores. The first store was founded on July 29, 1982 in…read moreMechanicsburg, Pennsylvania by Mark Butler, Mort Bernstein, Harry Coverman, and Oliver "Ollie" Rosenburg. You will see Ollie's bucktooth grin along with funny sayings all over the store. In 1994 the company started their loyalty program called Ollie's Army which you can sign up for on their website. For every $1 you spend, you get one point. Points move you up the rank and earn you discount coupons off your purchase. According to the company, Ollie's Army get you "good stuff...even cheaper". Currently there are 408 stores in 28 states, several of which are in Florida. Ollie's purchases company liquidations, overstocks, and older items that haven't sold, and resells them in their stores for a discount. You can expect to see name brand items. Ollie's sells a little of everything, cleaning supplies, garden items, books, toys, food, health and beauty, automotive, holiday decorations, home improvements, electronics, flooring, housewares, and so much more. I had previously shopped in the West Palm Beach and Delray stores and they were great for stocking up on hurricane supplies. Ollie's always has a ton of inexpensive K-cups and cheap and unusual snacks. I usually grab some candy as incentives for the kids at school. On this trip I found the snack size bags I use to pack portion controlled snacks for my school lunches. This is the kind of store where you come in for one thing and pretty soon you have a cart full of stuff. Check back often because the merchandise changes frequently and you will always find something new.

I'll start by saying I love this store! Great prices, good…read morestuff cheap, honestly my favorite place to do a lot of my shopping. Easily the best place to go for affordable home goods, rugs, even some clothes, random food items and especially for holiday shopping or any kind of gift shopping. The store has been more organized recently - good job on that end, employees! Now, on to the criticism... Recently every time I've been in here, I've been hearing the employees complaining very loudly about how they want to quit, can't wait to leave, etc. It's really beginning to show in their attitudes on the job. The last time I went the lady Trisha was so rude. My husband commented lovingly on how she shared the same name has his sister (who is deceased, by the way) and she scoffed at him. She was cursing loudly and proudly on the job, a surefire sign of serious unprofessionalism. I get that you hate your job but when you're being paid to be at a location, the least you can do is hold your tongue to all of the foul words you consider saying and work the job with a good attitude. If there's one thing I've learned through my years working similar jobs in my youth, it's that you should never take your home troubles and bring them into your work attitude. She was very unpleasant, short tempered, and absolutely pissed off to have anyone shopping in this Ollie's Outlet. Of course, I love Ollie's so I'll bear through it. Another time, I was ringed up incorrectly and when I pointed out that my discounts never came off, a different lady showed me a lot of attitude in trying to fix it. There are some sweet folks who work here - I'm not saying all of them are bad. But recently I've really been noticing how negative the work environment has become there. Some of the employees really need to show up to work and just have a good attitude. Some are fine. Either way I love this Ollie's and I'll come back, but it has been pretty bad on that end recently. I would give this 5 stars but a star is getting knocked off for a handful of the employees issues, and if I keep showing up and these issues continue spiraling down, I'll come back and knock another star off.

She told me people steal from them and I could be one of them if I bring it in. I made the remark I wasn't going to be stealing anything let along it legitimately only fits my wallet and my phone has a slot to slide in the back. Wasn't an huge deal hence why I had my daughter run it back to the car. She then pointed at the sign. That's totally fine and if it's policy it's policy. If my wallet with the strap is considered a purse, okay whatever no biggie then my mistake bringing it up to the door. The door was blocked by a vehicle and I didn't see the sign until I went around the vehicle. Again, my daughter brought it to the car and not a big deal. Upon her coming back in I let the lady know I had found the location on Facebook and she said doesn't matter she needs to tell me all the rules. She did. Again, not a big deal. Then she proceeded to be condescending about my children who hadn't said a word and were standing right by my side. I informed her my kids would stay with me and don't run around wild. I went to go look at clothing and she had the owner or manager come over and tell us we have to leave. Mind you my children were standing right next to me. One on my phone watching YouTube and the other standing next to the rack look at clothes right next to me. I asked her what she said and she wouldn't say and I let her know we were met with negatively upon coming in. She rolled her eyes and didn't want to have any discussion or part in knowing about how her employee interacted with us. Terrible customer service. Maybe have someone a little more chipper at the front door. I'm sorry if you've had a previous experience with bad customers but sorry I'm not one of them. Pretty pathetic to accuse people of stuff that they didn't do just because others have and just because kids have bad kids doesn't mean it's okay to be condescending because a customer walks in with kids. Also, everyone is human so if you had a rush of people in the earlier hours who caused your sour attitude it might be beneficial to take a break and recollect yourself. Customer service goes a long way. Not being rude to customers instantly will also get you a long way. While you may get a good deal here I would highly NOT recommend this business. The attitude from the moment she opened the door was negative. Not even a hello or hi welcome to bin deals. Just negativity . There are plenty of other liquidation type stores that actually have a pleasant demeanor and attitude towards their customers. Go a little further south in Lake Worth there's a huge store with liquidations that isn't affiliated and a huge store called OTG liquidation in Vero. Both of these other places the staff is nice and welcomes you into the store.

They don't wanna tell you this until you Arrive. This was my first and last time coming here, I had seen this on social media and it seem to good to be true and From the moment, you arrive at the store it it is all fake. They have a unmarked police officer with his lights parked at the front door. Once you enter the store they give you a breakdown of the rules what you can touch and not touch, it seems they make up the rules as you shop. While I waited for a pass to shop they had kicked a mother and her daughters out for shopping, but it was the "security" fault, He admitted that he never mention to them at the door it's a 18+ establishment. None of the workers have name tags but, The man at the front kinda "chubby with brown hair and a rubbish beard" told me I couldn't open the "brown" cardboard boxes but not the boxes already open and the boxes that are closed you have to wait in a line to see what they are. As I was shopping I could see the workers staring down my neck as if I was shoplifting or breaking the rules, as I was shopping one of the workers came up really close to me and stood next to me staring at me, he didn't have a name tag but he had short hair and a knee brace on his left knee. I asked him what his problems was as anyone would if someone came into their personal space, I could almost smell sweat coming from his arm pits hovering over me. He told me I had broken the rules by looking into boxes, I didn't open a single box, I only look through peep holes or read the labels on top of where they came from. I had "brown" boxes in my bag waiting to brought to the line that didn't have holes or tags. He literally stood next to me for a few minutes waiting for me to do something wrong. He asked me how long have I even been here, I replied about only 10 minutes and he kept staring at me. so I joked with the him about Me going to jail and he finally left me alone. About under 5 minutes later the same man with the knee braces walked back up to me smiling saying you have to leave. You broke the rules, So I happily left and saved my money. as I approached the front door they had the officer waiting for me with his arms crossed and he was dead staring me down waiting for me to act out or cause a scene. The "security" seem to find it funny, he laughed and wouldn't even tell me what rules I had broken. I would recommend to never come to this place unless you wanna waste time and money. They will kick you out over anything they want, the workers and security are disrespectful and untrained. The products they sell are not overstocked items they are cheap products purchased on sites like Alibaba for a bulk price then resold back at $7 to consumers. This place is a scam, the photos you see on the internet are pictures of the workers getting the products before you, its a mind game. Just save you're money and time. DO NOT SHOP HERE. Anyplace with a police presence at the front door says a lot before entering.

I've been here a couple of times, and while it's definitely out of the way (about a 35-40 minute…read moredrive for me), it's worth it if you're looking for affordable home and patio items. They seriously have just about everything you can think of. I personally love shopping here for patio furniture and décor--tables, cushions, pillows--you name it. Anywhere else, patio stuff can get really expensive, but their prices are much more reasonable. I recently picked up two small side tables for my patio--one shaped like an orange and the other like a lemon--and I was honestly impressed with the quality. They have a nice weight to them and feel well-made. I went on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all, which made for an easy, stress-free shopping trip. The store itself is huge, with a really wide variety of options, from home décor to patio pieces and even faux plants. The only downside was I didn't find one specific item I was looking for, but luckily there's a HomeGoods right across the street, and I ended up finding it there. My advice: start here first for the deals, and if you can't find what you need, head over to HomeGoods.

My husband and I visited here First thing Sunday morning on January 18, 2026…read more I did not feel very welcome here. We both shopped around, my husband went one way to look at things he was interested in, and I went a different way to explore the store. No one ever greeted or spoke to me. It was my first time in the store and they had lots of nice items. I did have questions about some items I wanted to purchase, but was never acknowledged the entire time. I walked through the store from the dishes, clothing, to the furniture side. One tall dark haired woman walked past me at least 4 times in the store but only spoke to my husband across the store a couple of times. I was very sad when I left the store. He told me so much about this store and I was excited to get there. Not sure what happened here, but I wonder if it was because we are an interracial couple that I was never acknowledged, but my husband was.

And some clothing, of course, and accessories. You have to wander around a bit to see everything as it's not grouped all together by categories. Some prices seemed a little high, but it is for a charity. They do offer sale discounts on different days on different items. And Wednesday is the senior day for 25% off. We did observe some local shoppers using a loyalty card as well. This card gives a discount to the users, but I'm not sure of the details. We didn't buy anything here when we visited, but as at all thrift stores the inventory changes often.
