Five below quality is similar to dollar stores. They do have items that are over $5, sometimes upwards $25-$30. The candy section is cool, I love that they sell a good variety of HiChews. The few times i've been to this location it's been neat and pretty organized. You never know what they have going on besides a few items going viral otherwise kind of just enjoy browsing around. They also greet you at the door.

I ended up making my way over to the bakery and came across the cinnamon roll morning buns which I had the next afternoon and they were still fresh and delicious. I'm a huge cinnamon roll fan and this checked all the cinnamon roll yum for me. The store was clean and bright. Lots to offer. I always like to allow myself time to look around in kowalski's because there is always just so much they offer. The gentleman who rang up my groceries was very quiet and it was like pulling teeth to get him to even say hello which is too bad as this is basic customer service skills in any job/position. I typically run here to grab household products. I have never had artwork custom framed prior to today so I wasn't sure what I was walking into but the lady at the framing counter at this location is excellent. She has a great eye and really made some awesome selections for me. She was friendly and helpful and I will for sure be taking the rest of my items in to her when they arrive. This is a great Aldi store. They recently added 4 self check out lanes. This makes shopping here so…read moremuch faster. In, get goods, run through a self check out lane, pay with card, done. Easy and quick. Just like the last lady I was with. Twenty years ago. :) One complaint I have. Was at a different store and they had chicken thighs for 50 percent off. They were Freeze or Use by the following date. That was all I bought on this visit. Went to a cashier operated check out lane. I didn't get the 50 percent off. I had to tell cashier how much it should be. She quickly cancelled the sale to ring up my thighs with the 50 percent discount. How do I do get this discount at a self check out lane if it is not coded in the bar code that it is half off? I like Aldi for their meat prices. Produce is some times hit or miss. Pantry items, canned, jarred goods are always a good value. Marinara Sauce for example, I get for $1.45. I can add other seasonings at cook time to get it where I want flavor wise.
