Horrible customer service .. Don't come here with your kids when Laurie is here working with her staff . She will Make your kids wait even if there is another worker until they finish ringing people up until they can open the door to the bathroom . My 6 yr old really had to go to bathroom and made her wait and argued with me saying she couldn't leave buyers in line even though there was someone else to help . She stayed in front of the customer that she couldn't leave here there because she might steal all her items . I told my daughter that's it's ok honey if you wet your self they will just clean it up then she said no I'm not and just handed the other guy the key . When the guy was walking back I said thank you and no response . 11/2/2025 445 pm . not sure if was a racist thing but definitely there was some hate involved . Okay, so the dollar store is now $1.25.... I go for the bark candy, peanut brittle, & white peppermint brick candy.... I waited in the checkout line.... When I finally made it to the front.... I had my things on the register belt when The lady with the green hair came up and told me she was closing the line.... Dollar Tree stores are the spiritual successor to the five and dime stores from long ago like "TG&Y"? And if you remember TG&Y stores, you must be a boomer or a Gen-X'er like me. Congratulations! You made it this far!! Woohoo! Now... before we go any further.. yes I know that items there cost more than $1. About a year or 2 ago, the chain raised the price of most of its items to $1.29. This particular location is in the Tri-City plaza located off Industrial Pkwy behind what used to be The Spunky Steer. The employees of this store are usually always helpful and friendly. So here are the pros and cons of this location (and most Dollar Trees, to be honest). Pros - You can usually find lots of stuff here in a variety of categories! Snacks, school supplies, cleaning supplies, art supplies, home goods, auto accessories, light hardware, batteries, first aid supplies, home medicinals, cold medicine, party supplies, you name it and you can find it here! Cons - So with the low price of most everything in here, it's very easy to walk out with a $100 shopping trip because you found dozens of items you never thought you needed until you walked in! It's very very easy to go crazy in this store "on accident". Trust me, I've done this before. LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE!! Now for a dose of reality. Dollar Trees are by no means high-end stores by any stretch of the imagination. They are for people on a budget; and let's just say, the store kind of reflects this. I wouldn't say this store is dirty or messy; but it can be disorganized at times - with items sometimes on the floor. To add to this, it never seems like they have a lot of staff on-site to constantly be tending to such things. It's actually a testament to their employees that they always seem to be in a good mood and helpful despite the slightly run-down state of things. Overall I'd say this location (and most Dollar Trees) gets 3 solid stars. I usually come in a couple of times a month to look for this and that and trust me. Shelves and areas are pretty clean and staff very friendly. My only constructive criticism is if the staff can work on line management . Numerous times theres a big line forming, one cashier, and other workers without situational awareness. Sometimes they will even go to another register to get something but not acknowledge the line forming and help their coworker. If this can be remedied then it can be a 5/5 store read more

Relatively clean from what I noticed. My complaint though is about the service. There was one cashier working... the line went from the register to almost the back wall. So say 10-15 customers deep? After waiting what seemed like an eternity the customer in front of me dialed the store number and asked if anyone else was working and if they could come out of the office to help the line of customers reaching the back wall. They came out of the office and started helping people and lady that came out of the office was nice. But certainly someone should have been paged over the intercom or had an eye kept on the long line of customers. It's just frustrating I spent most of my lunch break standing in line, then I actually did shopping in the store. read more

I'm super mad at this location and the employees. I came to buy balloons for my moms birthday. I'm pregnant and I'm crying in my car how mad I am. How they treated me like if I stole something. I bought the balloons and told the cashier to give me the balloons and she told me to get them myself. I'm struggling getting them down and as soon as walking out another employee comes and tells me that I didn't purchase them, since I was struggling I drop the receipt in the floor. Redlands, CA store. I stopped in on my way to work at 8 am to pick up balloons for a party in couple of days so wasn't having them blown up at that time. When i walked in there was an employee sitting on a chair in front of the balloons eating a burrito. She didn't offer to help so I starting looking through the selection and they were out of all the ones I wanted. I asked if they had any more in the back and was promptly told "NO" this all we have as she munched her burrito. Another employee said they do get shipments on Tuesdays and maybe they did have some in the back that weren't unpacked yet. The woman eating the burrito again said that was all they had, never getting up. I purchased a couple anyway and when I was being rung up I felt like i was bothering them. Mind you there were probably 3 people in the whole store. A couple of days later when I went in to have the balloons blown up again I was treated like I was bothering them, the woman who had been eating the burrito a few days earlier actually rolled her eyes at me, when I asked for the weights that come with the balloons again was told they were out of them. This is the worst DollarTree I have ever been to. It is small, their items are open and mismatched. After dealing with that because the savings are worth it, you stand in line with 5 or more other shoppers. One line... Slowest checker ever... Refuses to ever open a second line (or at least when I have visited this location). I go out of my way to shop at the one in Grand Terrace where it's clean, quick, good verity, and the checkers are quick and friendly! read more

The only thing I buy are the cotton rounds. But they always change the quality of what they sell. This particular ones I bought kinda "melts" when wet and just breaks down. I come in here all the time-they have nice crafts for my daughter to do, and I can grab a quick snack before going to the movie theater. As the other reviewer stated, it is on the small side, but they do treat you nicely and it's less crowded than the 99 cents store. read more
