Maybe $4 is not a lot to the average person, but it is a lot to most people going to thrift stores, including myself. You got the item for free and I'm coming to a thrift store because I can't afford to buy retail as a student... I ended up not buying because of that increase in price. Again, the jacket was in no means "good condition", it just fit and I needed a jacket. It's unprofessional to up-charge a worn item at the cash register just because you THINK it should be more.
