It was a…read morelucky find because we were shopping for larger pants for hubby as had been engorging himself with Christmas cookies. We scored a pair of Lands End for $4 that were like new in his larger size. It was a great deal. The building itself looks like it could have been an old schoolhouse at one time with additions added. You walk in and up the steps to the sales floor which was decorated beautifully for the holiday. Overall the store is on the small side for a thrift store but they did have all the departments. Shoes were limited, as were clothing but they were also very selective in their sorting process. While I found the ladies section to be a bit dowdy, that's to be expected given the rural location and the majority of the residents belonging to the Plain community. The staff were friendly and helpful. The prices were low to fair for most items but I did feel like children's clothing was a tad high. Displays were impeccable. They even have a large craft/fabric section in the back, larger than most stores. Because they are a religious based organization their hours are limited and no Sunday sales. I'd recommend and will come back.

The answer was, " There is an outlet, please try it." Or "If it doesn't, bring it back we will give you credit for it. No refunds." This is by far the WORST thrift store in over 1000 miles! It is a for profit store. The help is paid. No appliances, lamps and electric items are not tested. They offer an outlet, but if it doesn't work at home there is no exchange, no credit, just a point at the sign "All sales final." I am sorry, every business should have a customer service. Listen to your customers and come to an agreement. Not just a sign, ALL SALES FINAL. Discussion Over! So as I was ending this review, a comment underneath is this statement... This review is looking pretty epic! Nice. Funny, I truly wanted this to be a happy ending. But that wasn't it!!!

I wasn't in the market for clothes but I sure enjoyed browsing the merchandise. This store keeper was very welcoming and explained how the pricing worked. Anything with just a Denison tag you refer to the price list on the wall, any other items have prices listed on them. The prices were amazing, the merchandise appears to be never worn or barely worn. Everything was organized on hangers. There were blingy dresses, regular dresses, cardigans, winter coats, blouses, scarves, jewelry etc. there was a very small section of makeup- unused and in pristine condition everything from ELF, to Tarte, to Fenty Beauty. I would definitely stop in again next time I'm in the area. Every shop keeper was friendly and welcoming during my encounter to the quaint charming town of Hamburg and a big THANK YOU to my friend Maria who explored the town first and gave me awesome suggestions!!

Various small businesses and antique stores lined the street. The store itself was small but set up nicely and had an upscale boutique feeling. I was a bit surprised to find out they ONLY carry ladies fashion, shoes, and accessories. The cashier explained it's due to lack of space and not lack of donations. I believe the items belonging to other departments go to one of their larger stores. All the proceeds help local charities, and that rotates. There's a sign by the cashier that lets you know presently what organization your purchase is helping. Walking around it was hard to believe everything was second hand and donated. Everything was current, pressed, organized well, and of good quality and brands. Prices were fair to high for a thrift store, but their sorting and organizing process was on point. The small shop had nice displays, the cashier very friendly and a dressing room was present. 2 hour on street parking was available, and I didn't see any meters. It's located across and beside two antique stores. If you're looking for better brands this is your spot. I saw a really nice Coach purse for $49, that's a bit pricey for me, and I don't care much about labels, but this would be a steal for someone else. I didn't buy anything but glad to have stopped in and enjoyed my chat with the cashier. I would stop again if I was in the area.

I sincerely hope they left items for others. I didn't need to worry. This is a very well stocked thrift shop. Yay! There are two buildings, one - the apparel store - tucked behind the other. They have shopping buggies, which was handy. The clothing selection was great, everything was in good condition, and prices were good. The staff were friendly and informative. I then headed over to the housewares store. WOW. It's fantastic, lots of rooms, almost felt like I was in a maze. It's on my list for sure.

There are so many talented vendors with plenty of different unique options - clothing, jewelry, home decor, furniture, wall hangings, etc. You really have to look everywhere to make sure you don't miss anything! Vendors were busy bringing in new items while I was there, so inventory really does change all the time! Also, the girls from The Mint Leaf make their own candles and they all smell amazing! It was so hard to choose which scents to take with me. I'll definitely be back, especially closer to the holidays - I know I'll be able to get some awesome gifts there!
