Chick at the check stand is horrible. I work in customer service and when you're pissed, nobody should know. I went yesterday and the 2nd I set it on the belt she rudely told me to empty it.....as I was reaching my hand into the basket already to so. So I told her I already was. I forgot an item and went back this am and she was complaining about another coworker....didnt say 1 word to me or even tell me how much my bill was. When there are long lines there's only one person working and the other just putting away carts. They should open another cash register!

This store has a great selection and I can usually find good items there. The only issue would be the shortage of staffing . Usually due to the holidays there's an increase in staffing at most retail stores but in the case of dollar tree, I guess paying for an additional employee to man the registers is too much to ask. I give the girl at the register so much credit. She held it down even with a long line of customers to the back of the store and still had a smile on her face. Do better Dollar tree. With the increase in prices and the vast amount of people like myself that come in, you should be capable of better staffing your stores. This is my favorite store in the area but Christine is unbelievably rude. I'm not surprised to see other reviews mentioning her as well. I have witnessed her being nasty to customers and employees several times. read more

Just left Dollar Tree on Hidden Valley and this is the third time the manager Christine has been not so kind. she seems to really not like her job. My daughter was looking for a dog toy that made noise she squeezed one and right away over the store intercom was told not to squeeze any toys that made any noise. Umm hello how are to to know if it works??? Asked Christine grumpy pants a question and received an answer with sarcasm and rudeness. All the other employees are always so nice. The cashier Christine is extremely rude and disrespectful. She calls the next person in line which was me to next cash register I proceed on going and she says no not you the next one in line which the guy in front of me had already placed down his items in her register he did not even care to move over then proceeds to let 2 other ladies go to the next line and then I was allowed too. Why have people that don't want to work there in the register Christine do better at your job and stop being rude! read more

I stopped by today (the day before Valentine's Day) ((probably one of their most busiest days of the year)) to get some birthday balloons for my dad. Upon walking in I was immediately greeted by a cashier even though they were all busy ringing up customers. There were valentines balloons galore all neatly spread in bunches throughout the store. At that point I knew I was walking out with more than I came in for. I picked out some cute v-day cards and balloons for the kids. I then headed over to the balloon section where Dee quickly blew up some birthday balloons and even helped me fetch a red star balloon bobbing on the ceiling that even Shaq wouldn't have been able to reach. I then found her over at the registers ringing up customers making meaningful interactions with each and everyone while still greeting those walking in. This Dollar Tree is so near and clean. Everything is organized from top to bottom. They have a nice range of food available at the frozen area also. I love coming here just to take a look at what they have new. I'm a girl and I look for bargains all the time even though I don't have too. When you enter this store, the store is clearly organized. You can see right away that they take very good care of this store. Everything is a dollar of course, and nothing beats a dollar! I've bought snacks here, drinks here, some candy, some hair products, some holiday decorations, and other nick knacks! They sell some pretty cute socks during the winter time. I love their fuzzy socks and of course for just $1! I can't say no! The people that work the cashier is usually very friendly. Parking can be a hassle sometime as they also have some other stores in this plaza. It is also home to a Starbucks, so you might have to be patient sometime and wait for someone to leave. The parking structure is not that big either, so you will have wait a few minutes sometime. Overall, this is great place to shop, and sometime you have the best deals ever! read more

Happy Grand Opening Day! I've been to a lot of Dollar Tree stores in my day and this is by far one of the best! This is the cleanest and most organized Dollar Tree I've ever been too. I have high hopes for this Dollar Tree in the years to come. If they continue to keep the store this organized and well stocked as it was today, then this will become my new go-to Dollar Tree in the area! This location didn't have as many seasonal decorations as other stores I've been too, but they did have a lot of other items that most other Dollar Tree's run out of. They had a great selection of number balloons and number candles, which other stores always seem to be lacking. If you're looking for party supplies in general, this is your place! This Dollar Tree had the usual selection of balloons, household goods, food, beverages, toys, bath products, school supplies, and more. I hope this Dollar Tree keeps up the good work! read more

Cashiers are always friendly here. Great stuff, always stocked, very kind atmosphere. Great job dollar tree.

The people that work here need more P.R. training. Also, I was in line the couple in front of me paid with a 100 dollar bill and the lady at the register checked it, went around to the other person at the register she checked it, another person that works there also checked it finally I was like why don't you have the other people who are working there check it. Three people do not need to check a 100 follar bill the couple are older and I get it have to make sure, but really 4 ppl have to check a damn bill. Another time when I went I paid with a 20 dollar bill and the guy at the register also checked it and had someone else check it. I will not be coming back to this store I'll keep going to the one in corona. read more

I was driving by and I saw a dollar tree employee helping a customer (a mother with a baby in her hands) with her bags to her car. I know it's outside of the scope of that dollar tree employee's duty so I thought it was a nice show of kindness to your customers. So great job dollar tree person! read more

I came in here today with my friend because he had a situation where this store kept cam checking him, in my opinion it was because of how he looked and im still not sure what it was about entirely, but sure it happened this time while i was with, just like he said it would. So i approached the workers and initially they werent very helpful, and it kinda went unresolved with both sides being frustrated but i was determined to help my friend and came back in to get a higher ups number, luckily i didnt have to go through all that bcs i mostly got to talk to the assistant manager katie, she came out and talked with me and my friend privately. She showed me how understanding and caring she was about the situation, and as far as im concerned we solved everything and turned a bad situation great, thank you Katie!!!! Wonderful employee!!!
