VERY rude cashier I might add. I have never in my life, not only are you way overpricing donated furniture, but I can't get help loading it?! If they no longer want to have $1.00 merchandise, then they should change the name or open new stores with the merchandise over $1.00. He also was kind enough to let me know that the signs I was looking for hadn't been placed out yet. So, I didn't need to worry that I missed them like I had been led to believe by another local store. Some local DT store managers can me downright mean and rude. They don't want you asking anything or even talking to them. SMH. Thanks to Store Manager Bill, for helping me make my mind up. Time is money, and at 400 bucks a clip, I don't need to watch a manager be rude to elderly workers. Or even the guests. #craftONmyFRIENDS

That said I thought I would add a comment or 2 following trying to continue shopping here (in spite of the issues) . You no doing the same thing the same way over and over expecting different results...yeah i may be crazy according to Einstein (and others). I've been a fan of save-a-lot since moving to this are 6 yrs ago.Still am. But everyone has their issues: 1. Not a fan of customer "bating" (u no sales with very limited quantities that are gone quickly..but now u'r stuck in the store to spend money anyway. 2. They used to carry more cases of prune juice (yeah I'm part of that older group). NOW its 2 cases on the top shelf and that's it. I always buy in, more or less in bulk, and used to always buy 2 cases at a time. That's gone and of course no back stock. I suggest sales are done because its just never available and its shoved up on the top shelf which is just an added inconvenience...and its getting frustrating to the point of looking for alternative stores. Yes i do recognize I'm only 1 customer and i recognize businesses don't cater to the single customers' needs. And customer doesn't trump numbers.. 3. the 5 for five deals were absolutely the best. I always bought the chopped vegetable (bell peppers etc) but they were gone also.....it just may not be worth the hassle to drive to 2 different save-a-alots just to buy the things i need. I've ALWAYS like shopping here; but its quickly becoming pointless. I wanted to add an addendum comment. They do often have in stock the frozen chicken leg quarters. It's a really good price point and if I'm shopping there i always pickup 3 of 4 of these (i go thru a lot of poultry). However, this by itself isn't enough to boost the rating. It may not be worth it regardless to have to drive to multiple locations just to get the few things i shop for even when buying quantities. There are other retailers.

One of the cashier with blue green ends on a bob haircut .. not only lied about me telling her about a return after she had rang up.. but had a complete attitude on the days I came in others were welcomed but I was not(wrong color for PR) she didn't want to svc me and called the other cashier telling her your register is ready ... Then here's the racist behavior I'm finding throughout PRichey she rang up my goods against her will then before register printed the receipt she walked away left my bag and receipt on the machine and hollered from moving clothes behind the register and told me to I could take my receipt off the register and my purchase ..I WILL NOT BE TREATED LIKE THIS AGAIN...as my money is still Green even if my color is not white. IF YOU CAN TAKE MY MONEY YOU WILL TREAT ME WITH THE SAME COURTESY AND RESPECT AS A WHITE CUSTOMER. What this cashier did was not new ....this seems to be a Racist Stance that is being perpetrated on people of color. I have had exact or similar experiences in this city... I get the impression that it's acceptable and even considered acceptable to treat people of color in this manner. From the excuses for what she did, I heard from the store manager. It's as though they will not touch the items or bags of someone of color after they've touched it or they are being deliberately rude and disrespectful to people of color. As I said this is pervasive in Port Richey Fl and probably in the entire state. idk
