It was so stuffy, it was actually difficult to breathe. I'm very aware we were in Miami and I am very aware of how hot Miami is; I live in this state for goodness sakes, but I don't think it should be more miserable in the store than outside in the shade. The store is dirty and not at all organized. It's difficult to find anything and very difficult to move around in. I felt like I had been packed into a sardine can. We made our way to the back of the store and I had enough of the "coziness" so it was time to leave. I was just way too crowded in. If you have trouble with closed spaces and being to close to people, this is absolutely NOT the store for you. I didn't interact with anyone who worked in the store other than the security guard at the front when we were leaving. He was very kind and gave a great recommendation for a nearby restaurant. It was really pleasant speaking with him (darn it, I always forget names). Accessibility: Navigating this store easily in a wheelchair... absolutely not. I mean, it can be done, but it is difficult as the aisles are very small. Even the main aisles from the front to the back of the store are very small. Accommodating to my Service Dog.

I realize that customers before closing isn't exactly ideal unless sales goals are critical. When there were 8 minutes left I was ordered to head to the register by an associate Frank, leaving me to make questionable purchases. I get that the store needs to close, but I don't appreciate being ordered to do anything. I don't normally take orders from complete strangers. Not really the 1 or the 2 to be played with, so for what my hooting and hollering is worth - tone is important, and it felt like a command. I worked in retail management for 6 years, even this close to closing customer service is essential. There are so many other Burlingtons. I had a positive experience in the daytime last weekend, so I came back. Now? I don't know if I would come back at all. For workers that hate customers and their jobs in general less traffic is ideal - for management that depends on meeting goals to grow and receive bonuses it's a little more critical. Just remember that that same management is making decisions about your pay, your scheduling, and your growth in the company. Reputation counts for a lot more than we're usually aware of until it's too late.

The manager randomly walks up to me, and in a low harsh way asks "Why I'm here," there were no proper introductions and he reeked of cigarette smoke. He wouldn't let me finish talking and cut me off. When asked about availability I mentioned how Saturdays wouldn't have been totally ideal...instead of letting me further explain which times would work best that day, he crumbles my paper in my face. HE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE THE WHOLE TIME...i probably interupted his smoke break and thats why he was so pissy
