I also come in here any time I need a gift, like nice lotion, a journal, etc HOWEVER. The employees either get some sort of bonus for enrolling people in their points program, or they've been threatened with torture if they DON'T enroll people. I walk to the cashier to check out. "What's your phone number?" Oh I don't have one with y'all but that's okay. "Well let's get you signed up. What's your name?" No thanks, I don't need to. "You'll get coupons and save money!" No thanks, not today. "I'd recommend you just sign up; you can always cancel anytime if you decide to." No. Thank. You. And I am certainly not blaming this employee. I am sure she does not want to have that same conversation with people all day long. I blame whoever is making this corporate decision; I have no idea why they think it's wise to bully customers and make it so unpleasant to shop there. Next time I need a little gift, I'm likely to just go in the Barnes & Noble next door, who also sells gifts, journals, cards, and at least they only ask me ONCE each trip if I want to sign up for their rewards program.

So, my best friend and I have had…read moreour eyes set on the Dawson Sectional since our very first apartment but we never felt like it was the right time. The apartment gave us weird vibes and we weren't ready to make it a "home" with a brand new couch, so we bought the ottoman just to have a piece of the set so we are set in stone with it. THEN! In November of 2019, tragedy struck and we had a person try to break in the apartment with a hammer, knowing we were in there, with intention to harm us. God knows why. But we got out as they smashed windows trying to get in and that sealed our fate... it was time to move out. We instantly moved back into our parent's houses for a few months. And now we are back together in a new place where we feel much safer. Which meant that it was our time. Our time to snatch the Dawson sectional. We love it! So much! And it does help make our place more homey. Heather was such a great help and I know we added stress by getting a uhaul van instead of truck but we still got our couch home (in two trips)(again, sorry, Heather)
