What a dump! The mess in the store is unbelievable!!!! I can't remember the last I was in a store this messy.....maybe never!

This Dollar Tree is a good one! It's medium sized with an all right selection on the holiday stuff, party supplies, a few toys and an assortment of home goods and electronics with one aisle and a couple fridges of groceries thrown in. I've been here a couple times so far and all of the cashiers have been friendly and helpful. One that looks like she could pass for Corey Feldman's twin sister was especially chipper. For the few trips I've made, I was able to get almost all of the stocking stuffers for Christmas along with some personal care and pantry items for soldiers that I write to. The store's been clean and well taken care of as well, even during the busy holiday season. Huge parking lot shared with Joanne's makes it easy to find parking.

    Utensils! Score!!

I have finally come out of my cave and tried the dollar store. Hey, times are tough and i recently moved into my own apartment. I went there cuz i heard they have kitchen supplies for cheap and i really needed the necessities. These things can be expensive as we all know and i didn't need top quality, just some things not second-hand. 8 bucks got me quite a bit more than i expected. Unfortunately they didn't have any pots and pans but i did get all the utensils i need and then some. I knew the place wouldn't be exquisite walking in so i cant judge them too much for not being the cleanest. Its Lynnwood so what do you expect? I do pay attention closely to customer service and i found the cashier to be quite nice. She was obviously a bit over-worked and i could tell she was tired. She still engaged in conversation and asked if i was moving into a new place. I said yes and she said thank you for coming here with a genuine smile. Dont judge these places too harshly. It is what it is. But for a chain store, there is a reason why people come here. They have a plethora of stuff for a buck or less and it's really not the worse quality. They saved me a few bucks for sure!

As a soon-to-be parent, I wanted to dress my baby well but without spending a fortune since they will grow so quickly. True to their words, the onesies at Bella's Voice are about $1 apiece which is astounding in today's market. I came in twice over two weeks because I couldn't believe it and had to come back to see if the selection rotated as much as I hoped. The first time I was bummed that I found a cute unicorn sweater but it got confiscated for not having a price tag (their policy dictates that unpriced merchandise must be returned to the back room for processing with no guaranteed turnaround time for returning to the rack). By the second time I visited I found an even nicer kids jacket for about the same price which I promptly snatched up. The inventory turns at a steady pace and there's some fun stuff in there (Juicy Couture baby bottoms anyone?) This has definitely been my most promising resource for kid clothes for myself and parent friends so far, and has revitalized my former interest in thrift shop hunting as a hobby.

We used to really like Bella's Voice and shopped there regularly after moving to Lynnwood in 2024…read more We have spent close to $3,000. That changed with one visit which occurred a month ago. Look at the photos for the condition of a rug they sold. At the Shoreline store, I purchased a rug that was tightly rolled and sealed with tape, so there was no way to inspect it at the store. When I got it home and opened it, it was in unacceptable condition: heavily stained, paint marks, and a strong cigarette odor. This is not an item that should have been on the sales floor. I brought it back within a week with the tag attached and receipt in hand. The manager Leonora did not start by looking at the condition. Instead, she went straight to finding reasons to deny the return. First saying there was no tag (there was), then saying they don't accept returns on "furniture." At no point did she engage with the actual issue. When I tried to show her why I was returning it, another employee inserted herself and escalated the interaction. I did raise my voice out of frustration (my voice carries) but I made no threats and was trying to explain a legitimate issue. Rather than hearing the concern or working toward a solution, the situation escalated quickly. The manager told me to leave or the police would be called for CRIMINALLY TRESSPASSING, and that is exactly what happened. Police were called over a return. I tried to de-escalate and offered reasonable solutions (exchange or completing my purchase), but the manager declined and stayed focused on denying the return and calling the police to have us removed for CRIMINAL TRESSPASSING! Even the responding officer looked at the rug and attempted to find an amicable resolution. My daughter, who was not involved in the interaction, was also threatened with trespass, which was upsetting and unnecessary. This should have been straightforward customer service: 1. The item was not in acceptable condition and the condition was against their own donation policy. 2. It was packaged in a way that prevented inspection 3. A reasonable review could have resolved it Instead, it escalated into a situation involving publicly funded law enforcement over a defective item. As a nonprofit serving the community, I would expect a greater emphasis on resolving issues directly rather than relying on public resources to shut down a legitimate concern. For a place called Bella's Voice, it was surprising how quickly the conversation was shut down. The executive director has chosen to ignore my formal complaint. Photos are attached so others can judge the condition for themselves.

In long Probably most people know the deal with these places. The stock changes all the time--they buy unsold inventory from other businesses and sell it cheap. The layout is super basic, lots of big mismatched shelving units, not a lot of merchandising. You look around, maybe see something you can use, and note the price. They do have some perishables, and some beer and wine. The alcohol selection is super big-brand stuff, but most of the perishables looked healthy enough. Probably need to get eaten soon but that's cool. The shelf-stable stuff and knickknacks are even easier to shop with confidence. We found chips and snacks and candies, some for us, some for family, nice variety, everything usually at least 50% cheaper than what mainstream stores charge. We found a Hello Kitty coffee mug for $5--that's a goofy stocking stuffer now for my sister, and at the price, even if all it gets is a laugh out of her, it's worth it. We found quite a few other things, including several pounds of wagyu ground beef, all for under $70. These days those are screaming deals. I will say that everybody seemed nice, and not everybody looked like they spend every second of their lives on a tight budget. More people said hello and beg your pardon and all that here than at most stores. Friendly. But as we were leaving, that lady in the gigantic fake leopard-skin coat with the wild hair, wrestling with the shopping carts, crashing them around and cursing, well, that played into the stereotype a bit of who shops at places like this. She almost bumped us pretty hard, but now it just seems like some amusing local color.

Well over that 20-year time period I can probably count on one hand how many times I walked out of there with something worthwhile. For one thing the store is always in a fair amount of disarray. The racks are overcrowded. Too many items where they just have one or two things and it's really hard to find what you want in your size. A lot of stuff on the floor and if you do find something you love you have to wonder if it was stepped on or rolled over by a cart at some point. The prices probably are more reasonable if you do find something but you really got to dig. The thing that really burns my hide is the line. It's been long often in the past but it could be worthwhile if you found something. This most recent time I went the line was ridiculous. I would guess there was 35 or 40 people in line and three cashiers. The people were lined up all the way to the dressing room. I expect this if I go in Ross or the Goodwill. Not Nordstrom rack. Never again. But I want to give credit where credit is due, the cashiers despite the crushing workload where personable and did not display any stress despite the obvious frustration of everyone staring at them doing their job. Thank you for what you're doing, and hang in there ladies!

What makes it so incredible is, the exact same fridge at Costco, also delivered, installed and old fridge hauled away, was $400 more. I got a 33" wide fridge, 26 cf bottom freezer with ice--for $1100. At Costco it was $1500. Incredible savings. Appliances 4 Less is a "scratch and dent" store that also gets returns of undamaged appliances, that's what I got. I took some time and looked around while Rouchen Zhang (Store Manager) was finishing up the sale before me. I was shocked at the low prices. When it was my turn, Rouchen explained that their store averages 40% below retail, and that was certainly my experience. Costco is cheaper than retail also, and Appliances 4 Less was substantially less than Costco! After my purchase, the delivery was scheduled 3 days out. I got a call that morning and the delivery people were on time. They hauled away the old fridge and installed the new one. They left me instructions because the refrigerant got jostled around and needed to settle, so they made sure I don't plug it too soon. If you're in the market for a new appliance, give the Lynnwood Store a call. You really can't beat the prices.
