You can't beat this place for storage boxes and containers of all kinds. I actually bought a couple of 2'x3' hand woven rugs to put on the walls in my living room. They really match my rustic decor and they were only $3.99 apiece! In the spring and summer, you can't beat them for all kinds of gardening supplies. They have a huge assortment of flower pots of all shapes and sizes in plastic, ceramic, stone, wood - as well as potting soil and plant hangers, etc. I bought three beautiful macramé plant hangers there, and they look great on my patio with pretty hanging plants. They were only about $3.49 each. This should be your go-to store for any kind of holiday decorations. They have a huge assortment of every kind of holiday decor you could imagine. They are not $.99 or even $1.25 like the Dollar Store, but the prices are still lower than you'll find anywhere else. It's a great place to purchase things such as canned goods and peanut butter and packaged mixes, etc. There are some offbrands, but there are also some brand names of some items. Occasionally the clerks are not very friendly (took one star off for that) but then some are very friendly. I still highly recommend this store.

The prices are really great at this store, but the customer service is spotty at best. Some of the…read moreemployees are not well trained, and most are downright sour faced and unfriendly. No eye contact, no smile, and no greeting when you first enter the store is pretty standard there. One young man tried to put a dried flower bouquet in a bag head first and then was putting large items on top of them, before I stopped him. I had to explain to him that those items would crush the flowers, and he just gave me a strange look, and walked away. Also, I had handed him four or five of my own bags, yet he was packing one bag so heavy I wouldn't have been able to lift it. I'm small and 73 years old so you'd think that someone would automatically consider that, but no. When I tried to explain that to him, he just seemed to be confused so someone else came up and rescued me from him. I believe in giving everybody a chance at a job, but don't put somebody at the front who has no people skills or common sense at all. One new employee sold me a piece of furniture from a center aisle clearance area without telling me that I could not return it because it was not their policy to allow returns of anything that was on clearance. Had they told me that I would've gone home and measured my room before buying it, but there had been no sign there stating that and no one had told me that. When I came back with it because it was too big for my room they absolutely refused to refund my money even though I had been shopping there for months, decorating two different houses as well as my own, and had spent a lot, lot, lot of money there. The man who had sold it to me only two days earlier looked me right in the eye and lied and said he hadn't sold it to me. Three other staff members standing by (why?) kept telling me it was their policy not to accept returns from furniture clearances, something which was NOT posted, even then. I don't have a problem with that policy. I have a problem with their being no sign stating that and no one told me that when I bought it. Unfortunately I couldn't find my receipt to prove who sold it to me, and even then he would still have lied, so I'm stuck with a $119 hassock that won't fit in my living room. One other thing is if you try to order something from them online and have it delivered, forget it because it'll cost nearly as much in delivery charges as the actual item you're ordering. It's too bad they can't hire better people because it's really a reasonable place to shop with a lot of merchandise to choose from at really good prices. PS: there are two women working there who are friendly and helpful and great at their job, and I consider myself lucky when I see them at the register when I go there. I wish I could remember your names, ladies because you have been terrific.

Today I went to the Lemoore Dollar Tree and it was pretty busy at the time and no one greeted me…read morewhen I walked in but I didn't expect them to as everyone was busy doing a task or taking care of a customer. The store was pretty clean considering how many customers were there and everything seemed to be in its home for the most part. I did t have to look for things randomly around the store incase it was misplaced or on the floor somewhere..A group of teen boys walked in and I believe they normally go in there and disrupt the place but they were in and out without any problems and it seemed the associate was surprised by their seemingly odd behavior. I did not find what I was looking for originally however, as expected I left there with other items. The line seemed like it was going to take forever but that was not the case. The cashier who by the way was excellent had customers in and out of there while maintaining a positive, upbeat, friendly, concerned Attitude regarding customers finding everything they were looking for during their visit and making those upsells by suggesting add ons during the check out process, while maintaining a genuine looking smile on his face sending customers off with a friendly have a great day! If it weren't for Edwin. (I believe that is his name but I may be slightly off and it may be something like Erwin) having a great work attitude and such positive energy I would have probably left there irritated due to the fact that there was someone's toddler crying the entire time I was there and the parents not concerned for one se their child to stop crying or not just taking that child home for a nap..it was clearly tired..however that has nothing to do with the way the store was being ran but that kind of stuff does tend to throw my entire visit off. I like to shop in a calm. Peace and quiet type environment as much as possible. The store front looked clean as well as the parking lot. My only problem with the parking lot is that it's limited space and with incoming and outgoing cars it does make it very difficult to back out and leave if your parked in the spaces directly in front of the store or right across the store front next to where the old radio shack was. I think it's a cell phone store now but I do not remember. Keep up the good work Dollar Tree!

I said "you can't take the customers until she's done ?" (The line was growing and we had already waited at least 10 minutes. But Dollar General is not that much further and their prices are excellent. Today I paid only $2 each for really nice Bic Quick-Dry Gelocity pens that I'd pay a LOT more for anywhere else, and some really nice metal plant stakes for $1 each to hold up my small succulents when then get unhappy and pout by getting bendy from the heat. So for example, last night I spent quite a bit money at Dollar General, and Carlos, THE #1 BEST employees of nearly any store I go to, popped his eyeballs out when I turned the corner and headed towards him with my bright yellow cart not only full, but overflowing with little items trailing me as I struggled to wrangle my way around that tight little corner. He smiles and is sweet to me and helps get things out of my cart and walk around the counter and over and cook his thing at everything is heavy and then helped me out to my car with everything which he has done every time I shop there. I'll note that I'm 75 years old and have injuries on my right side from my neck, completely down my shoulder and my arm and I have carpal to both wrists right now but the right one I can't hardly do anything with and the back injuries prevent me from being able to bend over, so having employees like Carlos and Mark, who are so helpful and kind, will insure I'll be the most loyal customer they will ever have at that store. So I promote Dollar General AND Carlos and Mark on Yelp, on Google, and on the Next-door app as well, and I tell all of my friends about them and encourage them to shop there. If the people who own and manage this little store on 14th in Armona CA, would stop and think about how valuable these employees are, and train the rest their staff to be more like them, they would have so many customers they wouldn't even be able to handle them, and would have to hire more equally and personable people to work there. And so now after that wonderful review here comes that one star part - there are a couple of women who work there (and who were there last night, one them alternately glaring at Carlos and me for joking around while he rang up my purchase), and typical to their behavior whenever I'm there there never smile at me they clear if I ask him a question they snap and answer or point you guys ask them for something at the cash register i'll show you over and show it to me. That's customer service my opinion so I will go to Dollar General no matter what other store opens or re-opens anywhere else here locally, because of the great prices, service, friendliness and kindness that I get there and that's more important than anything else plus less expensive than anywhere else. So four star reviews only because of everybody and Mark are grumpy and rude so that gets one-star knocked out for the prices and the help from those two men four star Unbelievable I can't find anywhere else. I had a bunch of little ones that aren't mine but I borrow them for fun coming to a little swimming get together with me and my senior clubhouse and of course they didn't show up with any beach towels so instead of you to find the next time I bring it over I got size nice little beach towels for three dollars each and then they don't go home with the kiddles, they stay with me for the next time. there's too much for a dollar each. Carlos and Mark are what goes well because they are the best things about the store. They're welcoming and their friendly and they're helpful. Most of the other staff are none of those things.
