The road…read moreconstruction did not stop me from turning around and going back to 2109 Ward Avenue to satisfy my curiosity. Having never heard of Pleasoning Gourmet Seasoning, I was determined to see what it was all about. Having made the right decision, I am now hooked on Pleasoning Gourmet Seasoning. Just this morning, I had the All-Purpose seasoning on scrambled eggs. Yummy! Walking into the store, I was pleasantly overcome with a blend of fresh herbs and spices, thus, proving that this is the place where it all happens. This is exactly what I was hoping for. Not sure whether it was Kathy or Jaime who waited on us, I was surprised to learn that there are only three employees, and they are second and third generations of the founder. Our hostess took plenty of time to share the story of Pleasoning Gourmet Seasoning, which made the visit fun and informative. We use Steak and Game on every steak or burger we grill, not only because it is tasty, but because we don't need to add any salt. If I can not make it back to the store, I will order online or pick up what I need at a local store. I just ordered a gift pack for my daughter's birthday, and I am excited for her to get it.

She taught me to use this in all the poultry, dressing and soups. Needless to say, I've been using the original seasoning blend for many, many, many years! It's my top secret seasoning for soups and holiday dishes. It's sometimes hard to find in the grocery stores. So on my last trip to LaCrosse I stocked up on my secret seasoning blend! I probably need to stop gatekeeping this portion of my recipe!

They loaded the trailer carelessly and actually kicked stuff around the apartment. They acted the entire time as if I had put them out by hiring them. They were asked if there was room for a mattress in the trailer, to which they replied there was not. When we got to our destinstion across the country, we learned that not only had everything been loaded poorly, there was room for the brand new mattress which we had left behind. Now we're out several hundred dollars having to buy a new mattress. If Colin and his helper hadn't been quite so lazy, they could have loaded everything! There was plenty of room! We also found out when we unloaded the trailer that many of the boxes marked FRAGILE were loaded on the bottom of the stacks of boxes and several items were damaged or broken as a result. I paid for two hours of time - $200. It would have been a bargain if they had done their jobs correctly. They were at my home for one hour of the two I paid for. I wouldn't be upset if they had actually managed to load everything. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY ANY LESS. They were rude, didn't show up when they were supposed to, couldn't manage to properly load the trailer, and still left early. I'm completely dissatisfied that this company showed up and did a poor job and managed to cost me even more money.

The three young men, Jas, Will & Mandela, were personable and treated our possessions with care. Colin went out of his way to help deliver some special items.
