I said this price is wrong. It says 2 for 3$ and she rung me up for $2. Nothing important. Super petty. She denied me service for my attitude. But in reality. I had a dispute with her at another location called buddy's. Where she cussed at me before I even got through the door. This was personal. And I will never go to dollar general again because of it. It's all on film. And hopefully there is audio. Every thing I mention will be proven. She said it all. Even mentioned she wasn't serving me because of what happened at buddy's. Loud and clear.

I found a tidy and well stocked store that had friendly associates and reasonable prices. Nothing particularly blew me away and I didn't spot any great bargains but it does look to be a pleasant shopping experience and it is a full service grocery store. I stopped to get gas here today, and these pumps are choosing the quality gas you get for yourself, meaning they are picking the higher price Gass for you and you have no way to say no other than hanging up the pump and starting all over again. Also, it never prints out your receipt. You always have to walk inside to get your receipt. Which then makes you stand in a long line to wait to ask for your receipt and then the clerk has to dig through all the people that are getting gas at the moment and print the receipt from the pump you were using. So getting your gas here not only cost you more money, but it also cost you more time. My recommendation, pass it by go somewhere else

Upon walking in, you're greeted warmly, and the guys there are extremely helpful. I've been in several times to buy hard-to-find Mario plush for my son, and each time we go, they've got loads of new items. Makes it hard to decide which one to buy, but their selection is phenomenal. I can't say enough positive things about Hood's. My son loves them (where else can you find a Koopa Troopa plush shell backpack, a Dry Bones plush, and a Plants VS Zombies plush without either making a day trip to Austin and/or paying ridiculous prices?), my boyfriend adores their game selection (it's hard to drag him away), and I'm content to browse their collectibles. Small-town shop, big city selection. :)

I work nearby, and I make the conscious effort to visit every time I get the chance. While cosmetically, this place isn't exactly the Sistine Chapel, the hot food is sub par to say the most, and the people who work here are kind of lost in their own world sometimes (most of the time), If you try really hard to understand, you realize that this place is absolutely entertaining to visit. I'm not even sure if this place has a manager, and if that's the case, keep it that way. Get lost in the drama the staff is expressing, and realize that if you were working at a 7-Eleven in a small town, you'd probably eat while someone is at the counter and dig around in the hot wings with your free hand as well. Stick to the bottled drinks and manufacturer-sealed food products, and you're golden. Thank you 7-Eleven: Kingsland, TX for being a part of my daily life.

When we visited her this was the 1st place on our list. The restaurant is right next to convenience store next door. The place is quaint and cozy. I loved the plaid table cloth and decorative coke signage. I ordered the catfish plate and it came with either hush puppies or french fries. The batter was rather bland, which was unusual per my friend's comment. She also found out that the usual chef was not working at that time. Overall, the service was alright, and the place was clean. The food could be better for our visit.
