There are basically the same store and price range. They are both about the same size and much larger than the one on Dixie Hwy here in Louisville. I wish our store had as much as these do in Jeffersonville. They are lucky to have these stores I will say that. They have way more than Louisville. Basically everything from A to Z, and are more organized than Louisville store, I don't have anything personal against the only Ben's Bargain in Louisville, I just wish they had as much and were more organized. If I lived closer I'd be in the Jeffersonville one all the time. I could've spent hours in there but time didn't allow. I hope to come back that way someday.

Anything considered furniture was in a box and required assembly. Service was friendly. I witnessed the associates helping customers find things or answer questions and we checked out quickly once ready. In a shopping center and not easily seen from the road. Large parking lot. To heck with aesthetics -- Ollie's is too busy saving you money to fiddle around with arranging items on a shelf nicely. I stopped in to get some lotion, and wouldn't you know, I could only find one bottle of lotion in the whole store. This morning, Drew from Honest and Fair Appliance arrived, as scheduled, and completed the repair in about 30 minutes. There was no drama or attempts to upsell for more services. Additional note for anyone who may need appliances. Bargain Supply has been our "go-to" place for appliances for many years. Since I was concerned the dryer mentioned above might not be repairable, I visited Bargain Supply on Saturday to look for a replacement. They pulled up my previous purchases and then helped me select a dryer they had in stock, should I have needed a new one immediately, knowing I was "just in case shopping". That's service!

For those unfamiliar with their mission, The Mustard Seed is a relatively new (founded in 2016) organization that is primarily dedicated to aiding survivors of childhood abuse. They maintain a wider variety of inventory than most other thrift stores in the area, are exceptionally fair with their pricing and have a delightful sense of atmosphere to boot. In short, it's the kind of organization that deepens your appreciation of Indiana as a whole. The Floyds Knobs store is more spacious than Sellersburg's and has recently undergone some further expansion/renovation. I get the sense that this location has the edge when it comes to clothing, housewares and artwork, while the Sellersburg store is perhaps a bit more robust when it comes to media and toys. At any rate, so long as you follow their posted advice and do not (under any circumstances!!) attempt to donate any fire-breathing dragons, a visit to either Mustard Seed is bound to boost your mood. (The free coffee definitely doesn't hurt.)
