Very RUDE manager on duty last night, flipped me off in the parking lot. I was pushing my cart…read moretowards her after unloading my groceries, she was pushing another cart in from the lot. I was expecting she would take the cart from me, she was smoking a cigarette so I knew she wasnt going back in the store yet. I was clearly pushing the cart to her, but she completely ignored me, so I left the cart close to the front door. After I turned around, my husband saw her flip me off. So I went up to her and asked her why she flipped me off and she says, "because I can," just as snotty as it could be said. I told her that my husband and I had pushed in THREE carts from the lot when we arrived and she said, "good for you." I asked her name and she covered her badge so I couldnt see it, then went cowering into the store. If zero stars was an option, that is certainly what she would have gotten. I dont think I will ever be going to that store again. Maybe managers should behave in a respectful manner to their customers.

They are more of an overstock place than a dollar store, also a lot of things there are very expensive so don't view it as a dollar/discount store either in that way. However, the prices are all reasonable. My favorite thing about this store though is that it is - sadly, though luckily it's here now - the closest thing to a book store in the entire city of Defiance as far as I'm aware. They don't have a massive selection and most of the "books" are more coffee table style stuff, but personally I like that kind of thing. They have game books (crossword, sudoku, etc), coffee table books (I got one about Chevy trucks), cookbooks, and so on. A good reminder we do need an actual book store in town when a bargain store is the closest you can get, but for now this will do.
