Staff is friendly and helpful. On a visit today though, I did note a problem that management should address. The line was long at check out, not because of a lack of personnel but because of time lost dealing with the credit/debit card readers. Many in line had trouble with their cards being read, with all being eventually accepted, but only after repeatedly swiping, tapping, chip reading, etc. Perhaps an update of hardware or software is needed?

Big Lots had an excellent selection of outdoor furniture and awnings for very reasonable prices. I picked up a 9 foot umbrella for $35. It is very well made and was marked down from $50. Unfortunately they were out of bases. The selection isn't as good as a Home Depot, but their prices seemed much better. The employees weren't overly helpful, but I guess you can't have everything. If you're in the market for outdoor products, I recommend this location.

I went into the store on November 9th twice, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. The cashier that was there alone that morning was extremely sweet, helpful, kept a smile on her face even though it was busy, she tried her best. I went in again after church, heard and saw the most distasteful thing ever in my life. The store manager was cursing and yelling at the cashier who had been there all alone. No employee should be treated the way she was treated, It was so bad that the cashier seemed like she wanted to cry but kept her composure. The store manager got in her face and was raising her hands at the cashier and the cashier still didn't get loud nor angry. This is unacceptable and my heart goes out to that cashier!

That's perfectly fine if you ask anybody at the store closes at 10 o'clock. You deciding to start closing at 9:30 it's not a company policy you need to check yourself and your rude behavior. Other customers can hear you screaming for 15 minutes.

There are multiple employees drifting around helping customers. Great and friendly service. Five Below is the very best store anywhere to buy charging cables for cell phones and tablets. They cost $5.95 for a 10 ft cable and $5.55 for a five foot cable. Six foot cables are available as well. Depending on the location, some of their stores honor replacing non working cables free of charge. Regardless, their cables are good quality and last a long time with reasonable care. I buy my cables here exclusively. They also have a great candy section with items not commonly stocked elsewhere. A lot of retro candy as well. Other areas they stock good inventory for are fashion accessories, pets, gifts, and toys. Parking is plentiful in the giant lot for this sprawling shopping center.

I've never stolen anything in my whole life, and I had $500 on me with no need to steal. This woman conveniently had to "move around" small items on every aisle we went down, and then after I paid and went to put my cart back, she ran to the door and was staring at us and trying to rubberneck at my receipt and in my bags. Trust me, there were some sketchy looking people in there, but we were not the ones who were it. I would rather drive to another city than ever go back here just because of her ruining our experience. My daughter saved up her allowance to go by "preppy stuff," and we felt like we were criminals.

But it's now a "go-by" place. Admittedly, he's been gone for a while but other than the "music" it's still the same. There are always carts of boxes piled high of things that should be ON the shelf. Their "clearance" items are 10% off the regular price. . The "new" arrangement is just inconvenient.
