It's floor plan is well placed, and the doors and floors are clean. Their merchandise is the best you can get for the prices they display. I paid out on a bracelet of mine I pawn that suprised me as well. This is not your ordinary pawn, check into cash store. It's more, they have an awesome layaway plan for broke individuals like me, 10% down, I think, then a very comfortable payment plan each month. It's now Christmas in July for $1 down and payments until December!!! That's not all, they installed a Wheel of Discounts that you can spin once every visit towards that days purchase! (Limited on certain items for the discount) You don't even have to pick the merchandise out prior to spinning. $150 discount limit per spin. I have purchased a 12 string guitar and brought it back the same day, and they let me trade for another that was less hard to play. I brought it back for another store credit and they didn't get irritated at me at all, cuz I can be irritating. The boss lady just smiled, treated me like family. I now have $240 store credit and kinda gonna let it ride for now. No, they don't pay you interest, on your store credit balance. They aren't made of money, but they do know how to run this very successful business.

So you better believe we stock up when we come here! This year, we happened to be in Iowa City during Black Friday and we decided to brave the crowds and go to Costco. To our surprise, it was not as chaotic and crowded as we thought it would be. I'd say it was a typical crowd that you would see on a Sunday, maybe a tad more shoppers. We stocked up on all of our essentials in preparation for the winter season and now our fridge and pantry are well filled. We even snagged a box of 24 cans of Spindrift for $9.99 which is absolutely the best deal we've seen for Spindrift. We also got a huge cut of New York strip steak for $7.99 per lb which will last us for months! All in all, this Costco is well stocked, well organized, and clean. The lines move pretty quickly, especially since they have a self-checkout and regular check out line. Service is efficient and there is a covered parking lot with lots of parking spaces. We are happy with our haul and will be back the next time we're in the city :)

They are part of the TJ Maxx family however their main business is in the sale of Home Goods. I am just going to remain candid and be real with y'all. You can seriously do a lot of damage to your pocket here. I don't normally shop for home décor but one can easily get addicted to places like this especially if home décor is your jam. I had some self-restraint and spent about $60.00 at the sto! With that money I got a candle, two vases, a wooden laser cut birthday card and a pack of Christmas cards to last me through this season and the next. That being said, one can easily spend well over $50 due to the lure of "cute-ish" items. I get people need "retail therapy" however, choose wisely and ask yourself, "Do I really need this?" If you do, by all means shop away however in this economy, exercise some caution.
