The store is located in a little strip next to the shopping center with a Dollar Tree and McDonalds. (You can access it through that center's entrance.) The store is older and needs some repair, but it's well-lit, merch was organized, and it was clean enough. This is a discount variety store, not a dollar store. Everything is priced with stickers. Nothing I picked up was as cheap as a dollar. Many, many, many items were identical or comparable to Dollar Tree, but priced at $1.50-$3 for DT's $1.25 same item. Still, I looked at almost every aisle to see if there were any hidden bargains (perhaps at a higher price point?), but still my mom-and-pop Dollar Magic locations in Delaware County, PA, and my fave U-Save Outlet in Vineland, NJ, beat Royal Bargains Discount & Party Store by $1 at least on any of the $3+ merch. The balloon section in the back is impressive, and balloons creep up the sides of the store, pretty much taking over the perimeter and all end caps at the back. I did not see pricing on balloon bundles or centerpieces, but they have individual balloon prices on each "model" posted around the store. Those were $4 and up, each! I'm just not a huge balloon person to pay that much for one balloon. Balloons comparable to Dollar Tree options were $2 each at the back. My hunch is that people go here for the balloon bundles, and party arches, etc. and those prices must draw the business. It is definitely an impressive selection if you are a balloon connoisseur. As for the discount store aspect, I was hard pressed to find any bargains. I did buy one $2 tee from the selection of random printed tees in the back (everything from pro-Biden election shirts, to kids themes, to souvenir shirts from distant cities).

What store opens at 2pm on a Saturday? A bar maybe. They had nothing on their website and they have no phone number to call. I made a half hour detour from my day trip in NJ to try this place, so it was definitely a miserable waste of my Saturday. The cashier signed us up for their discount card and said our next purchase we would get 15% off. So on our next trip back. The young man John took the time to help us find what we wanted and got us taken care of. Unfortunately I thought the discount was automatic and it wasn't. So we had went up the 3 days later because they were supposed to get a truck of rugs. So on that trip we bought back the receipt and they were able to give us the 15% off. So it wasn't a total waste of a trip. Because the truck didn't come till Friday. So we went up on Friday and John was so amazing and patient with us. I can't give a negative star but today the people working at this store could have given me a long hospital stay or worse! My cashier's piece of cloth that might be a mask hung limply along her neck and I glanced at the other cashier who had conveniently lowered her mask to wait on a customer. Where was management telling these people that their refusal to properly wear a mask could kill me or perhaps pass along asymptomatic truths to me and I might kill my daughter who lives with serious health realities. WHERE WAS MANAGEMENT??? Judging by the shelves appearance my guess is that management is on vacation. This store is poorly stocked and truly offers an appearance of disarray. In addition to possible killing me or being an accomplice in my killing my daughter or other individuals who cross my path (My mask fully covered my nose and mouth but I am aware that masks don't protect me from others with COVID they only help prevent me from harming others.) she struggled to scan my purchases (Thankfully, there were only a few!)! So, upon arriving home ... off went the clothes and I soaped my face and hands still fully aware that if contact tracing is needed for anyone amongst my family and friends who might get ill in the next two weeks I will be able to pretty accurately guess the source!
