The only issue I have is that their prices are higher than most places that sell the same products, so I would not come here for items like Buldak noodles unless you really cannot find them elsewhere. I called ahead to ask about an item I had previously seen in the store. Unfortunately, it had already sold, but he went above and beyond to help! He found a similar item, described it in detail, took measurements, and even placed it on hold while I made my way to the store. Now THAT is outstanding customer service! The staff are incredibly helpful, and the store is consistently well-maintained, making the shopping experience even more enjoyable. My advice to fellow HomeGoods shoppers? When you see something you love... BUY IT FIRST, ASK YOURSELF QUESTIONS LATER! This store gets plenty of traffic, and those fabulous finds don't stay on the shelves for long. I don't feel like I ever have the best interaction with the employees either. I purchased a long stool that also had storage in it, and when I asked the employee for assistance, it seemed as if I was bothering her then, when I went to the cashier to check out that lady kept bothering me about getting a credit card. I told her no multiple times and she was still so persistent. Honestly, if I didn't need that item, I would've just left because I hate when people nag me about being a credit card that I don't need. They do have some really great deals on bakeware and other kitchenware. I feel like on some of the HomeGoods you really have to look at the prices to make sure that it's worth the value.

My 16 year old daughter and I were recently shopping and I didn't see that the knife selection wasn't locked, so I had my daughter go ask a person to come help with the knives. She came back about 5 minutes later saying someone said that they will find someone to help, but when they went to walk to find someone they just stood there talking with their coworkers not helping. Eventually I figured out how the knife shelf worked, but I have also had many experiences that were not amazing or even decent. Great selection of food, poor customer service.

The only time I have been in this mall before this trip was before the pandemic when I arrived in town having forgotten my Apple Watch charger at home. We went straight from DTW to the Apple store here, purchased one and left. We had time to look around on this trip as we had promised our granddaughter a trip to the mall on a rainy Sunday. As we walked in, I had an overwhelming sense of recognition of a store attempting to pass as a Nordstrom, a brand that we lost at home a few years ago during a downsizing event, leaving Colorado, my home state, with just one store left, and in Denver. The layout was so similar, I could find particular categories of goods at a glance. Even the rack choices were the same, the signage fonts too. Each area had a formally dressed staff member, waiting for customer questions, often with their hands held at their sides. And always smiling, not unlike statues. I had worked in a different company and in Colorado years ago in retail management but with a more casual engagement sales model. If no customers actively in sight, my staff always found things to do, arranging sizes or colors of items that had been moved out of place on a busy day. I also noticed that the prices here seemed far more affordable than I usually saw in Nordstrom's. The other thing I noticed was that I did not recognize most of the brand names and the feel of the fabrics was of a lower quality. I did not see styles that would have been expected in Colorado and not surprising as I had never shopped in the Midwest. Regional differences are very real. My granddaughter and my husband wandered over to the children's department, not to look for clothes but for a fun object and she found some trendy Squishables, one of which she convinced her grandfather to purchase for her. It was purple and came in a box, is the only description I can offer. But you really could squish into anything you wanted. It made her happy and that's what counts. If I lived in town here, I cannot imagine that I would come here again. You'd probably find me over at the REI store where I have shopped in the past, even for dresses! I once found one in my size when here on an earlier visit, which was sold out at both my home REI and their Seattle warehouse. I promptly bought it and I still have it though it no longer fits. It's one of those things that never goes out of style, is beautiful quality fabric and well-constructed. I am wearing it in my profile picture in the "Hiking at Boulder Falls" picture from a few years back. I am still hoping that someday it will fit again. I'm glad I saw this place so I can really appreciate regional differences and I will say, when I actively engaged staff, they were very polite.

Just a sour bitter seeming person, what a real shame to have a great store like Sally's hiring surly rude people like her. Avoid this location, order online instead, she's not worth dealing with AT ALL.
