Just this Sunday, Nov. 9th I purchase a wagon for $120 for my granddaughter and when I went there the employee brought out a folding chair??? It had the correct tag on the it from the item/date of purchase. As I mentioned, this has happed to me 4 times now. I know many people are praising them for getting a good deal...Not such a good deal when they don't have your item when you go there to pick it up... Get your act together please... The employees in the front of the house are AWESOME! I always give them a tip for going in the back and getting my items. They always have a smile on their faces and try very hard. It stinks for them when they bring me out the wrong item... Then the lines continue to grow out the door and the customers look like they want to rip someone's head off... If you want to add more items to your daily auctions, add employees to your front desk... How's that for a concept...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Ultimate treasures an antique thrift store that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked through the door, I was transported back in time, surrounded by an incredible array of vintage items and timeless treasures. The store is beautifully curated, with each piece thoughtfully displayed to highlight its unique charm and history. Whether you're a seasoned collector or just someone who appreciates the beauty of antiques, there's something here for everyone. I was particularly impressed with the selection of vintage furniture, which ranged from elegant Victorian pieces to mid-century modern gems. One of the standout aspects of Ultimate is the knowledgeable and friendly staff. They are passionate about antiques and eager to share their expertise. I had several questions about the origins and history of certain items, and they provided insightful and fascinating information that made my shopping experience even more enjoyable. The prices at Ultimate Treasures are very reasonable, especially considering the quality and rarity of many of the items. I found several unique pieces that I couldn't resist, and I left the store feeling like I had discovered true treasures. In addition to the fantastic merchandise, the store itself has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It's clear that a lot of love and care goes into maintaining this charming shop. The layout is easy to navigate, and there's always something new and interesting to catch your eye. Overall, Ultimate treasures is a must-visit for anyone who loves antiques and vintage finds. It's a place where you can lose yourself in the stories of the past and find beautiful, unique items that will add character and charm to any home. I can't wait to return and see what new treasures await! Alex West

Basically you're just playing Pawn Stars haggling with the man at the front (probably without any experts involved.) Don't get me wrong this store got plenty of business and customers throughout our visit here. The store itself is chaos and unorganized. In the men's restroom it's absolutely awful because they have stuff thrown and shoved all over the bathroom and around the corners it seems like it's definitely a fire hazard just walking around. One of the weird things I found was a checkbook from many years ago. Nobody should be selling that that thing needs to be sent to the fire. They do have some decent finds but nothing out of the ordinary.

Lockport is beginning to show signs of life again in the business community and I, for one, am grateful. I'd been in a Big Lots (once before) in Joliet and found the prices to be quite reasonable, but the store kind of dingy and picked over. However, the minute I'd walked into the new Lockport location, I could see that this store was much lighter and better laid out as well. It simply "felt good" to shop there. Plenty of merchandise to cruise through and if you're not careful, you just may find yourself filling up your cart with things you didn't plan on buying beforehand but discover you can't afford to pass up! The employees are a delight to deal with, too, and I've never had a sour experience with any of them, even during the busy holiday season. I can actually say that I enjoy coming here and from time to time, find myself wandering in just to see what's new. Right now, holiday decorations are dramatically discounted, so I know I'll be heading back again real soon. You should, too!

They always do that once the customers entered their store, all of them are willing to help and assist their customers, also you can come to them anytime if you have something to ask or if you are looking for something around their store. Their store is always clean and bright, lots of decoration around the place, organized, and well-stocked. They always have great deals, promos, and even sale products. You can buy anything here at Big Lots without breaking your pockets and also save lots of money compared shopping to other stores. They are so affordable and maybe that is the reason why many of their customers are going back again and again. Lots of people really love their place and I am one of those people. I was really amazed with their place and products, I will definitely go back here and shop. Thumbs up Big Lots! I will recommend this store to all of my friends and family. Thank you for such a wonderful service and great experience Big Lots!

BUCK THE TREND $1…read morestores can be small, dirty and dimly lit, but this Dollar Tree is newer, and therefore somewhat nicer. What used to be a Walgreens on Boughton just west of Schmidt Rd is now yet another discount store for Bolingbrookians to enjoy. It's been in business less than six months in a quiet area opposite a defunct Family Video. Walking in, it looks like they have WAY more space than they know what to do with. A few seasonal aisles towards the front couldn't do much to fill up the large empty spaces left by the previous tenants. The tall ceiling and mirrors on the walls (still leftover from when it was a drugstore) make this place feel cavernous and surreal. I will say that this -- or any $1 store -- is the best place to stock up on candy for Halloween. Bags of mini Snickers, Twix, Reeses, Airheads, Blow Pops, everything's only a buck so go crazy. Protip: set aside all the chocolate stuff you like and give the crap you don't want to the trick-or-treaters (I'm told this is "mean" and/or "selfish behavior"). Have to say I'm surprised they decided to open a dollar store so close to two others; there's one 2 miles west on Boughton as well as another one south on RT 53.....also 2 miles away from here. I'm all for cheap stuff, but three Dollar Trees within five miles seems a little unnecessary. * TL;DR * Recommended buys: seasonal single-use items (fake cobwebs, deviled eggs trays, plastic syringes for party shots) Not recommended: fish (either frozen OR fresh), toilet paper (just spend the extra $$ on some Charmin for your heiney) If you live in Bolingbrook and appreciate a bargain, look no further. You've got your pick of Dollar Trees in the area, so yay?
