For Easter, they had tons of candy, chocolate bunnies, baskets, grass, toys, and all of it was 1 dollar each. I did all my baskets for my kids and they loved everything! I recently did a yard sale and they had nice big garage sale signs, and the price stickers.. 480 in one pack for 1 dollar! And, for being a dollar store, they have a lot of name brand stuff!! We were looking for small bins to tidy up our cupboards and linen closet and found just what we needed. We also found a nice coat rack for the wall by our back door. The staff was super friendly and helpful with their suggestions as they guided us to what we were looking for. As of this writing 5/10/26 they're condensing the store to make room for Bed Bath and Beyond merchandise, so there's some great clearance prices. We're looking forward to returning for more organization ideas and to see the look of the store once the transformation is complete. Keep this store in mind if your spaces need organizing because there is definitely something for every room and everybody.

Both of the Shoppers on Vandyke sell from time to time items that are the Target store brand with one or 2 days left on the expire date. My guess is they buy Target products at an extreme discount & mark it up to sell. Neither of these stores care about expiration dates or semi rotted produce. On 10/6 I went into the Centerline location, started to go through the grapefruits & my thumb went through the skin it was so rotted. I am not sure if the 9 & Vandyke and the 10 & Vandyke stores are owned by the same folks but they sure seem to be; between the Target brands, expiration dates & the produce department or handling of the aforementioned things. Oh, I almost forgot, both freezer departments both suck. There are areas of the freezer that have inches, yes inches of frost on them. And the open top freezers have items that are SEMI FROZEN on the top 2 rows of things. All & all unless you're like me, forced to go to these stores (lack of rides & carrying a lot of stuff on the bus is inconvenient but Shoppers is walking distance) or just need safe things such as bread or a can of something (carefully check the date), go elsewhere.
