Wow! I suggest staying away from this place. We drove an hour and a half to take a look at a…read moreBronco they list for sale on their website for $38,970. When you click on "detail pricing", it shows dealer fees, electronic fees, and tag fees. No problem. Got to the dealership and spoke with a salesman named Michael. Nice guy. He stated that the vehicle price was actually $55,000 and that the vehicle was a demo and couldn't be sold for six months. I let him know what the website shows, and he invited us in to check what it shows online and check with the manager. His computer shows what we showed. We asked to speak with the manager, and in comes Santiago Hernandez. No smile, nothing... I introduced myself and girlfriend. Not a word back from Santiago. He said that the website price is incorrect and he can't even sell the vehicle if he wanted to. I asked why the vehicle was listed at $38,970. He wouldn't answer, and deflected that he can't even sell it. I asked him again and he stated that it was an error and was priced incorrectly. I stated that there are laws that protect the consumer from listing a vehicle at one price, only to be selling it for a different price. I then proceeded to ask that even if the price was correct, why do they have the vehicle listed on the website for sale if they can't even sell it. He stated that he can put whatever he wants on the website. I stated that he stated earlier that corporate runs the website, but now he can make changes to the website so which was it? He responded that he puts whatever he wants on the website. I said thank you for your time and walked out. On the way out "Manager" Santiago yelled across the room, "Why don't you buy a Bronco in Sarasota?" I ignored him and kept walking.

He spent close to a week answering my texts about different models they had available and explaining features, legroom, etc. They had so many great options I couldn't narrow down my search online so scheduled a meeting. He was well prepared and showed me every model I had inquired about and explained features and warranties. I was able to quickly and easily narrow my search and decided on one that was perfect for me. He was able to show me cars at other nearby Alan Jay dealerships so the ease of working with one person on several cars was appreciated. After looking online for weeks the prices at Alan Jay were often the best so felt confident in value I was receiving. Anthony's attention to detail and knowledge of all the models made it easy to make a decision. I would highly recommend Alan Jay, and would ask for Anthony. Whether you have questions about makes and models or know exactly what you want the level of customer service he provided far exceeded my expectations.

Here's the facts he called "opinion:" a 2013 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab, 96K miles on it, clean truck, sharp looking but not overly different from the other 10 I'd looked at and drove. The brakes were dangerous even pushed to the floor (salesman agreed) and the tires were slicks (Mr. Kline said they were "1/8 of an inch better than the wear line" himself. And, the asking price- $15,500! So far overpriced and refused to make it right with the tires and brakes unless we paid for them (at his cost, what a deal). When I suggested that he was trying to treat me like an ignorant female who knows nothing about cars, I pushed a trigger button. When he told me the tires were an 1/8 of an inch better than the wear line, I could not help but laugh at him (that made him angry too). He walked out saying "I'm done here." What a childish display of unprofessionalism. The salesman, Hector, had to apologize to us for Mr. Kline's behavior. Look, it's not my problem that you bought a car you paid too much for. It's not my fault that your service inspection said that the tires and brakes were "good." Whoever did that inspection for you should be fired. Pompous, disrespectful ass. It's really too bad because they have some quality vehicles but safety is important and pricing competitively isn't opinion... sorry you didn't like being schooled by a girl.
