I asked for a quote for flushing the brake fluid and they provided me a quote and an appointment for a week later. I took the truck in for the appointment and they put it on the rack. This is when they decided to come to the waiting room and let me know they couldn't do the work without a full brake inspection. I had told them that the brakes were all replaced 6 months ago and that due to the time (7 years) the fluid has become contaminated with moisture and other contaminants. They told me they couldn't work on it without an inspection. I told them to pull my truck off their rack and I will be leaving. On the way out the service manager asked what was wrong and I told him my story. When I repeated to him what I had said to the girl at the counter, he asked me why I would want to change the brake fluid. I told him that brake fluid gets contaminated over a period of years and or miles and that it needs to be changed now and again over time. My brake pedal was spongy and it needed to be flushed. He had never heard of this before and didn't understand why I would want this. I told him to look it up and he will find out how the fluid reacts over time and why it needs to be flushed. I went a quarter mile down the street and found a independent shop that was very happy to do the work just as I had requested. After many years in the manufacturing industry with customers all over the world, I found the experience at Jarrett Ford in Avon Park, Florida to be lacking in their service department. After asking the clerk at the service counter if she could turn on the TV in the waiting room she said she would find out if it worked. She never returned with an answer or to turn on the TV. While sitting there for the 20 minutes before they told me they could not do what I had asked for without a full inspection, I noticed how dirty the waiting room was. Dust on all the bookcases and tables. I don't recommend this Ford dealership for service. They didn't do what I asked even after I had received a quote for the work I wanted done. The counter girl assured me that they could then a week later it was a no go. Thanks for your time, Unhappy customer

They pay me by buying lunch and an adult libation or two. Arriving- They are directly on US 27 South between Avon Park and Sebring. There is a turnoff both before and after them so if you miss one you can grab the other. Parking is a snap and dropping off is easy peasy. Ambience- This is a big place as they sell and service four or maybe more brands. As I've found with most dealerships, everything is spotless. The waiting area is comfortable with decent amenities. Customer Service- I have lots of experience with them as I accompany my friends on the drop and the pickup. I go in with them and participate in all the interactions. I've experienced multiple service folks on many occasions. Overall, servicing your car and the customer service that goes with it is 4 stars. The nice folks are good at explaining things simply and answering all your questions. The times they estimate are usually great with the occasional glitch due to parts availability. See my next point. Parts Availability- This seems to be a bit more of an issue than other dealerships I'm familiar with. I mention it because it was also true pre-pandemic. A part that was due in 2 days ends up being 7. That stuff is annoying and drops them a star. Conclusion- If you need dealership-level service, overall a decent place!

The mechanic's name was Andrew and he took the time to secure by mirror so I was able to drive my vehicle till parts could be ordered. There are two problems with this: the work isn't done, and according to the warranty company, they paid them in full five days earlier. Every time Advisor opened his mouth, it has been a lie. My car still isn't fixed, the warranty company thinks the work was done (or thought so until I reported this) and Advisor is playing now. I've never seen a dealership so crooked, and I worked in the industry! do yourself a favor and run as far away as you can before you get taken as well

"His employees are more friendly than the other shops in town." "I can get what I want done without that horrible upselling I get from other shops." "His prices are really fair." I could go on! Arriving- They are just off US Route 27 Southbound, very near all the Avon Park fast food places. If it's busy, park over to the left of the building. Ambience- The business has posted great photos, so I won't reinvent the wheel. The waiting room is basic and clean and most importantly, the chairs are comfortable. Customer Service- Solid as a rock! I blame the owner for his excellent hiring skills! Towing- 24/7, 365 days a year! Even if you're an impaired driver on New Year's Eve, these are your guys! Check their map on Yelp for the area they cover. Services- If it grinds or squeals or thunks or just plain fails, these guys will figure it out. Of course, they do regular service every X thousand miles. You know the deal. Pricing & Value- I'm like most folks. If I get something done, I will mention the price to my friends and neighbors to compare. Every time I smile! Conclusion- In my opinion, your chances of having a fine experience here are very high.
