Flew in from SFO and went directly to the dollar/thrifty counter. There were 2 couples ahead of us that said they'd been waiting for 20-30 min and no workers at the counter. No signage that they were closed or directions on where else to check in. Finally started asking the other counters where to go and then directed to check in at hertz (they own dollar and thrifty). Now currently still waiting in line with 40+ people ahead of us at the hertz counter...1.5 hours later (got here at 6pm and it's now 737pm). The lines all the way down the corridor behind us. Guys. Lesson learned. Don't be cheap. Just pick Alamo or National car rental. Their lines are quick and fast for the extra few dollars a day. Would give 0 stars but it's not an option. read more

Horrible customer service. I can't even express how poorly one is treated at this location. I had a pre-paid reservation and they wanted me to book another car at a higher rate, basically just trying to "shake me down" for more money. Then I tried to call Customer Service (comically called "Dollar Express")... they had me on hold for an hour. Unbelievably bad experience. Also, I had enough time to learn that Dollar is owned by Hertz, so don't rent a car from Hertz at this location either. I would post a ZERO STAR review if I could. read more
