As soon as we walk into the store this ignorant employee starts chatting it up with his coworkers claiming we were going to get carded and making remarks implying we were going to steal liquor. We heard him saying these things as soon as we walked into the store by the way... and we were there for yogurt. anyways this experience ruined my night, do not go to this Kroger they are terribly rude and judgemental towards customers. The food is also way too expensive, Walmart would never give their customers the peasent treatment Kroger does. #cancelkroger

What a store! I've lived her for almost 30 years and have seen this location have several changes…read more It is now a Save A Lot and I hope it stays put for a long time. Located just north of the town square. The owner has been in the grocery business for as long as I've been here. The prices are so cheap here compared to IGA. The produce is outstanding. It is always fresh. I can't say enough about the meat department. I was just in there yesterday and the manager was more than happy to cut a brisket in half for me and sell me only what I needed. The meat is fresh. I just wish this store had more room to offer even more savings. I have seen items like milk, coffee, eggs, soup, canned vegetables and Pepsi products for more money on sale at Wal-Mart and IGA than this store has for its normal everyday price. Save A Lot boasts that you can save up to 40%. I tend to think it may be even more. I rarely go to IGA now and never to Wal-Mart (very limited grocery items). Save A Lot doesn't have sales. They don't need to. Just shop and compare between the choices in town and you will never stop coming back. The employees are very friendly and willing to assist. If you have a question about anything, just ask. Almost always the owner is there to assist with any problems or questions. A lot of local restaurants use this store as a supplier so you know the quality is there. One last note. This store is always clean! It is obvious that the ownership is there to oversee things. It always looks nice and they are always looking to improve the store.
