my girlfriend was called a shoplifter thrown out of the store for nothing more than (suspected) shop lifting with no proof. Worse , I was cornered coming out of the public restroom at the same time and was placed in handcuffs, harassed, and thrown out of the store- for merely being there. I was banned from ever shopping there again as the manager snickered at what she had just done. I suggest if you are a minority, poor, or poor looking , don't ever ever ever ever ever ever come through Stockton Missouri and shop here ... Unless you want to come in as a customer and leave labeled a shoplifter in handcuffs, just to be released because they WILL on call on you for looking suspicious. Hence the word "looking" . The police department acts in tandem with them ready to throw you out of a store for life- although no foul play was ever done. They refuse to give up the surveillance to clear our good names all the way up the ladder. if I was anybody that looks suspicious (whatever that means) I"d steer clear of this store. In fact everybody should be appalled that this dollar general is an open supporter of police brutality and harassment and they know they can count on them to do it for them. The police never inquired as to how they suspected anything they just walk in and throw you out and threaten you. And if you were simply somebody with the accused you will be placed in handcuffs and not allowed to leave the store (kidnapped) until they decide to throw you out and ban you out of pure frustration. If you value your civil liberties and bill of rights than you would be basically spitting on the constitution by giving the dollar general any money, not just in Stockton, but everywhere (in my opinion. )
What kind of place of business blindly calls the law and watches the grave injustice done to innocent people all the while corporate backs it up by refusing to get them to release the tapes that could prove otherwise. I'll bet that if we WERE shoplifting, those tapes WOULD be produced. Anytime we let small town America be over run by stupid people that call upon even stupider people and they all act in unison to cover up their wrongdoing its the beginning of the end. They might as well be raising a Nazi flag every morning (in my opinion) I guarantee that if your reading this it will be up for the ages because it would take an act of Congress to make me take this down. I want justice and how can justice be done when the gate keepers of the evidence is in the hands of the ones perpetratnig the injustice.
So...if you love America , and hate oppression, let the dollar general know this by sticking up for the poor down on his luck individual private citizen who did no such stealing and can't even clear his name to get that label off of them. Do us all a favor and shop at the Dollar Tree because they have the same stuff that's for a 1$ so how much money are they really making. Id rather go to Walmart than the dollar general at least they know how to treat so called suspected wrong doers....they at least make sure they're wrong before doing something drastic like robbing us of the only other store besides a grocery store in a small town to shop in. but now you couldn't get me in there at gun point..that's how that no good poorly ran flag burning camp of a store is.......in my opinion of course
