But, I would say about 20% of the inventory is no more than 20% discounted. When I go to a close-out style store, I shouldn't be able to find these items on Amazon.com for about the same price. I would expect all store items to be 25-90% off retail. There are no guarantees, stiffer return policies, and limited inventory. I saw a cutting board for $15. I went and showed the cashier how the same cutting board was $10, regular price, on Walmart.com. She just stared at me and said, "It's $15". So, while the folks are nice, I'd expect a store like this to listen when a customer shows them that their inventory is above retail and to at least offer a price match.

This store is between the Wendy's and the Walmart in Soddy. Sometimes you just need a couple of things that are just simple and don't need to be a name brand or anything fancy. I needed a couple of rolls of aluminum foil for my garage projects and didn't want to go in the grocery store or into Walmart for them. It is an easy in and out AND.... Everything's a dollar! I'm like, oh I need some cheap batteries, I need some Tapatio sauce, I need a frozen Minute Maid from the freezer, I need a pinwheel. It's only a dollar, right? Said that is there policy. Said he didn't know if I had swapped already, implying I was doing something shady. Asked customer service for a manager other than auto. Courtney told me the manager was on leave, I asked for another manager, she said what can I help with? I'm the front lead. Explained my situatio which she referred me back to automotive, which I no longer wanted to deal with. She called Bailey (the auto manager) who came up and said she couldn't do anything without a receipt. Even though the manufacturer date was less than 2 months ago.
