The absolute worst, and I mean worst neglected clearance aisle that I've ever seen, it was the entire store's dumping ground. I've never seen a store that was this nicely put together everywhere else, have such a neglected ridiculously trashed section that was not shop-able by any standards. It was completely mind blowing that it was so jam-packed (not just the typical Dollar General discontinued clearance section products, which is usually a mess) it was solely the only reason that this store appeared to be in a military-style kinda orderly fashion (everywhere else) was because all the stuff that was supposed throughout the store instead was wedged in this half of an aisle section. The most hazardous unsafe situation that I've witnessed ever at a Dollar General! In one of the "catch-all bins" where they throw smaller loose items that they expect you to surf through to see what random stuff in being sold, it had crumbled blush makeup that had been broken open and sprinkled all over the 5 or 6 bins. The really alarming issue was finding small rubber torch-lighters mixed in amongst these bins, right there with the random lipsticks, headphones, broken eyeshadow, sunglasses, kids toys, hand sanitizers, beauty masks, pacifiers, was also multiple loose flame torch-lighters (working torch-lighters).
The rest of the store was almost immaculate too until I round the corner and shockingly it's like that aisle was a different store completely (it resembles the inside of a dumpster with the side taken off) and then back to immaculate again. read more
